Price for the guitar and the pick up’s would be f’n sweet ! I’m not really into the sand blasted wood’s but that rig looks like it must be Iron Man’s ! VERY NICE job Brother ! Hell you should buy them and resell them one at a time for some extra income. Peace and Rock.

Hey Hunter! John here from Fishman. I worked on those pickups so it's super fun to see someone else's reaction to them. In case it's of interest, the Richard Z magnetic circuit (similar to the Will Adler and Devin Townsend) use a combination blade on one coil and pole pieces on the other. It's a nice blend between the definition of blades and the rawness of poles.

LOVE the Devy set. Both the voice 1 bridge for the chugga chuggas of course, but the V2 split coil does sound legit tele-ish, at least to my ear when I did a recorded head-to-head. Great stuff, man!

The Richard Z- signature Fishmans just might be my favourite go to mod pickup! I absolutely love the sound of these. (Listening in Marshall headphones 🎧 😊) great job making these they are awesome, and they look as killer as they sound ! 🤯. I have an LTD - Alexi signature V and it would look so bad ass with this in it, it already has an EMG in the bridge but … 😮 these would definitely look better and the overall sound 🔊 is better ( more raw ) for what I’m playing most of the time in my opinion 😊.

Most Rammstein riffs are super simple, simple enough for beginners to learn them easily. So I don’t think that they’re that great in a technical way, but I agree that they’ve had quite a big influence on the metal and guitar scene though. I don’t think that they’re underrated from a guitar playing viewpoint.

I agree. Rammstein riffs are super hard to play well. Theyre not complex but they’ve got to be exact, consistent, and keep the bounce going. It’s like AC/DC or even Nile Rogers…not super “technical”, but you’ve got to lock it in and there’s nowhere to hide.

Hell yeah, great demo. I've been strongly considering a set for an aluminum neck John 5 Squier tele I'm building and I think this was the push I needed.

I would love to see you do a Devin Townsend Vs. Sexy Red Rammstein!!! It’s looks that each set is made in a somewhat similar way. So hearing you make some tracks and then looking at them to see how the software interprets the pickups, LOL. Sand plz with these sort of tests, since ur not a robot, plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz, IM FREAKING BEGGING YA BRO, be 100% conscious of how hard you are pushing down the notes on the fretboard and how hard ur picking with ur right hand. And overall placement of the right hand on the strings while you play, def. needs to be taken into consideration. Just do your best to keep the pressure the same every single time. In ur head decide what ur gonna play, then decide how ur gonna play it. Choose tempo and all that good stuff and stuff. Anyway i think it would be a really kool video idea. I can’t be the only one who see that ab the two sets, and i bet there are a lot of ppl who wonder the very same thing. Just how do Devins and Richards pickups sound in comparison to each other. Uuuuummm, i really hope you have a Devin set. Also, almost forgot. Use the same guitar, use one set then take em out and put the other set. It just takes away so many supposed variables that could change with two guitars. I love ya bro, We all love ya bro!!! I hope you and the Mrs. have infinite energy to take care of the next rockstar that will blow the world away with her talented voice and insanely badass guitar playing.

Most pickups are overpriced and when you add a brand name to them, the price goes up 2x.

I watch this all time. Great channel. Still says "Huntser" not "Hunter." Go with it.

I would give both a kidney and a testicle to be able to run a KZread channel and just review unbelievable amounts of free gear for the rest of my life. Those look sick and sound awesome.

I put a set of the Tim Henson’s in my LP and was very impressed. So much so I put a Fishman loaded pick guard on a Squire. Holy 💩 Batman! Didn’t think I would use anything but EMG’s. The battery back plate on the Strat is worth every penny. Going to get one for my LP!

I mean...the sound that made Rammstein was the emg 81 in the bridge and RZK admits to simply using an early edition ESP KH-2 (dual emg 81s before Kirk put an emg 60A in the neck) on tour during Rammstein's early days.

From a quick glance at fishman’s website it sounds like these are moderns with a third single coil voice… so then does that make these literally the same pups as Matt heafy’s?

Can someone answer me this? How do you change the voice in Fishman pups? You have to reconnect cables or is it push/pull?

Hey Hunther, While i got to say you are one of my go to guitar youtubers I can't seem to understand the love for active pickups No matter the brand or set i play, they all seem have some bright element i dont like And it seems no matter what i do, i cant EQ it out My question is, Do you notice that, or is that exactly why you like em? Or is it just what they do? Don't get me wrong, every fishman i tried have great note seperation and clarity Even in recordings i think they sound good but, in person, i dont like em Any tips maybe?

Whats the guitar at 2:28?

Just a small tip, Rammstein sound relies a bit on high end on the guitar to give it bit of bite. Their guitar sound doesn't have that much low end if you listen carefully. They sound big because of how everything is mixed together with the drums, bass and the synth.

souhnds good tho the red finish has some orange peeling effect meaning they didnt put much effort in painting them red

Great demo track and those pups look cool as F but don't be fooled by the sales nonsense. Put any of your humbucker equipped guitars through the same signal chain and you'll get virtually the same tone.

I couldn’t agree more. Voicings 1 and 2 sounded nearly identical under high gain.

I think you missed the chance to go full RZK and shouldve used a Dual Recto to give a good idea how his pickups would sound with his tone. Maybe a future vid idea?! :D

The MT100 lead channel is based on the Recto but with an actual midrange lol. For the demo track I used mostly the Dual Rec with the ENGL blended in for midrange

What's even more wild is that these sound as good clean/ low gain as they do in high gain. These are just awesome pickups.

As long as the pickups have a decent signal with no interference and aren't shitty... they are virtually no different from any other pickups while doing metal music.
