Smith is a supermiddleweight. Beterbiev has been knocked down by lesser fighter therefore he is human. This fight will be a super classic. Inside specialist against outside specialist. Speed vs power. Styles make boxing matches. I pick Bivol by decision but will not be surprised if Beterbiev knocks Bivol out in the later rounds. But Beterbiev needs to knock out Bivol or else he loses on points. @@2freezing

good point, but Bivol's defense and distance control will go a long way. Bivol knows how not to get cornered. He also has a good chin. Nevertheless, a Beterbiev knockout is obviously possible. Interestingly enough, I was watching Teddy Atlas on his youtube chanel. Mr. Atlas was Mike Tyson's trainer during Tysons time. Atlas was a student and assistant of the great Cus Damato who was essentially Tyson's teacher. Mr. Atlas is picking Bivol over Beterbiev. That's amazing...@@2freezing

It's amazing how people get so excited about knockouts. But i get it. Knockouts are exciting to see. Knockouts are great but is it boxing? How did the all time powerhouse Mike Tyson lose? He lost to a better boxer. How did the monster George Foreman lose? He lost to a better boxer Muhammad Ali. Callum Smith is not Bivol. His skills are not that great. Do you think Bivol is going to allow all that inside boxing? Beterbiev is a great knockout fighter. Beterbiev is a great inside attack fighter. Did anyone notice that Beterbiev can not attack while walking backwards? Bivol is an outstanding outside distance control fighter. Bivol has better footwork. Beterbiev has been knocked down before therefore he is human. If Beterbiev fails to knockout Bivol, he will lose on points. I respect Beterbiev tremendously but for me, a boxer beats a puncher. For Beterbiev to win, he must knock out Bivol. Otherwise he will lose by points. If you think Bivol will allow Beterbiev to come inside and slice him up then you have not been watching Bivol's matches. Bivol has better footspeed and knows how to immediately get out of a corner. At the end of the day, it will be an awesome chess match. Inside vs outside masters. Beterbiev can not fight walking backwards which Bivol will exploit.
