My 5 month old son is so obsessed with this piece,i have to play it every time he cries. And it worked magically since he was 1.5 month old. We have tried another instrument, another raag, another musician, but nothing works.

Great performance by both. Mr. Dutta’s style does reminds me of late Pt. Budhdhodev Dasgupta. Great accompaniment by Mr. Ghosh. Wish his name was mentioned in the credits. He certainly deserves to be recognized for his contribution in this program.

This must rank as one of the best performances for Tilak Kamod. It captures the essence of the raga, and reflects greatly on the bandish itself which his guru had learned from his Ustad.

@@meusha846to my understanding, The hairstyle he is sporting is an ancient hair style which is academically referred to as ‘Brahmin locks’. I liked that he was wearing his hair in this ancient style. Which is why I didn’t say ‘what skilled musician and handsome Brahmin he is’. I don’t know if he is a Brahmin and don’t care. His hairstyle certainly is a Brahmin hairstyle. Also, what makes him handsome is entirely in the viewpoint of the beholder. For you it could be his demeanour for me in could me his handsome looks and superb musical ability. 🙏🏼
