The Himalayan figure in Indian Music. But may I dare say, however beautiful may this sound, this is not at all tilak kamod...and he just didn't use a few other notes but digressed from the Raag many times.

You need not "dare say": as indicated in the reply string above, the source recording was explicit - "Tilak Kamod with Ragamala". Khansahib began with this raga and extended it to ragamala. Hence the additional Komal and tivra notes and the digression you hear
