breaking potato skin and cooking it in the microwave is actually a very effective way to make good baked potatoes in small servings. a couple minutes at a time until it is soft and you're ready

Exactly what I was gonna say. I do it my self, I take a potato, wash it, poke it with a knife a ton of times, wrap paper towel around, wet it a bit, put in the microwave for 3min, turn id upside down, 3 more mins and season how I want, it's very quick, effective and there's nothing wrong, nasty or unhealthy on that. Didn't understand their point on it.

Asmon, you not caring about other people's opinions is what I admire the most, you're a great, independent, cool guy.

I used to live in a room filled with dust and mold as a teenager, I had no issues. Now that I moved out of it, I suddenly have crazy allergic reactions to my old home and my immune system has weakened. Asmon doesn't wish to become weaker.

Been there. House of hoarders, took in my ex before we dated. I’d go over the house and clean the room. The room he moved in was never cleaned out. A relative lived there and went to college. The four of them hoarded everything so I’d go over each week to clean , and each time I’d return it would be covered with crap again. I gave up trying.

Asmon is damn near enlightened. The man is more at peace with himself and unbothered by it all than 98% of the people that belittle his lifestyle. He's ok with being the butt of the joke to make everyone feel a bit more comfortable with themselves. Dude is very intelligent, charismatic and funny. Could've been successful anywhere but instead got addicted to a shitty ass ugly game for 15 years and still came out the other end a highly influencial millionaire with zero regard for aesthetic or material possession. If your in an apartment its manageable to keep it controlled, unless your neighbor is breeding them. But old home esp those not build on a slab are very hard to keep them out without depending on your landscape.

We had a friend from China in college who was 30 years old and living on the freshman floor due to dorm housing shortage, was a doctor in China, worked for the international red cross, had been detained in North Korea, and was tricked into believing Forest Gump was a real person and an American hero. This is pretty wholesome. And Asmon, I've been watching you for a long, long time - you are not some cathartic experience for a person looking for validation. You're just real. Even if you moved into a mansion, spent your money, etc, we still grew up with you. Your long time followers would be happy for the work you put in, and what you got out of it. He is right about the roaches in Texas. There's a LOT of wood roaches, and they are huge. We used to get them in our house all the time and my mom kept our house clean as fuck. They are different than the one's that come around in a dirty house though and they don't multiply like crazy you just see one every now and then

Yeah the general rule is that if you see a big roach, it probably just wandered in from outdoors. If you see a small roach, you've got an infestation problem.

Yeah there's a huge difference between a random wood roach that finds it's way in your house vs the German roach that will infest your house. Wood roaches come in and are mostly looking for water and then die. German roaches come looking for food and of course thrive in a nasty house but can live and infest even the cleanest of houses once introduced because they can literally live off eating just cardboard and even drywall

lol that's not a roach... most people who live in a warm area likely has a lot more little things flying around the house than you might think. If you don't believe me, get one of those cheap security cams and put it in night mode with the IR light then review the tape. Every tiny thing that flies by will look like a shooting star. My grandmother in TX has the cleanest, most stereotypical home you could imagine. When I visit and come downstairs in the middle of the night, 1-2 giant Texas roaches chillin somewhere is normal and nowhere to be found during the day. There's a reason roaches will outlive us all. They're the ninjas of the pest world.

Eh, I got tons of these in my house, sadly. If it's the same thing, It's a goddamn moth... These little buggers that eat holes into your clothes... when it's somewhat warm you can find their damn eggs sticking to the walls, they look like small leaves. I take them out whenever I see them but there's so many that are hidden... so yeah, in the end, you have them around all the time, and I hate it...
