One Info is wrong, the size of the maps is the other way arround: Vurhonga Savannah is 64 km^2 (25miles^2) Takamoon Plains is 100 km^2 (34miles^2)

Simulator hunting games are having a great developement after cabelas’ stops in 2012 (last big game hunter - bad game), i’ve waiting this since 2007. There are still some lacks: 1) possibility to bait hunting, expecially for leopards 2) make alive rivers and lakes with hunting (hippo and crocs) and fishing games 3) realistic simulator alongside an interesting career mode

tikkamoon plains is primarily set in the kalahari imo with some karoo and namib desert elements...this is purely based off of the in game biomes and species selection. There are some parts that are a little east africa though (kilimanjaro/baobab alley) but mostly kalahari. Vurhonga is more of lowveld Savanna like what you get in the Kruger National Park, with elements of the kalahari / far south moremi in the more arid areas...

Way of the Hunter is catered for IRL hunters where cotw is an arcade style game with unrealistic animals as your goal to get. Cotw is a run n gun game. I played it for 4 years and reached the end several times (60). So happy that Way of the Hunter was developed. WOTH has a story that is realistic where cotw's story is unrealistic, following ghost? WOTH is a perfect game for IRL hunters with a great immersion factor. Thank you for your review, do you hunt IRL??

Completely agree! Way of the Hunter is much more of a hunting sim. It reminds me of TheHunter Classic. Thanks for commenting! I do hunt in real life :) Only a couple times a year though. I wanna get those numbers up!

Agree with you . Exactly how you said. I have played cow for 4 years over 3.000 hours. My opinion Way of the hunter is better. And this map reminds me a remake of Cabela's African safari PS2. My favorite hunting game All the time

I think u had some great points but personally the stories are just preference like COTW is more spiritual and about the culture while Way of the hunter is more modern Africa so I think it’s it’s a tie also map size yes COTW map is bigger but no one I ever seen has used the mountain to go hunting on the left side. At least all of tikamoon is huntable and there isn’t a place that feels dead where I can’t say the same about parts of COTW maps in general. Anyways great analogy.

That's actually a very good call. I have barely found animals on the mountain to the south west of the reserve in Vurhonga. That takes up nearly 20% of the reserve itself

True,,hunter call of the wild was worst game,even in real wild life,we can spot many animals

I don't think they say anywhere where the WotH map is but Mt Kilimanjaro does appear off in the distance. So it's probably the Serengeti plain of Tanzania.

Thanks for showing what COTW really looks like. There are so many whotubers who have their graphics turned down like its Battlefield 4 or something and an edited 120 Fish Eyed FOV with everything turned down so they can get 300fps for no reason, no glare, godrays, shadows, grass, fur...etc and looks more like the old hunter game instead. I crank this thing up all the way at 4k and have it capped at 35 so it never goes above that or below that and its smooth as glass and it looks fricken amazing. Don't let the videos of people playing fool you. What he is showing you HERE with Savanna it's what it looks like and even better. Especially with the sun rises and sun sets. The game looks awesome, like something you would expect to buy NEXT YEAR. I just personally like the graphics better in COTW. Woth graphics are just off putting and too FPS gamie like.

Tikamoon may beat vurhonga but it does not beat emerald coast. People have to remember vurhonga a few years old now would love to see a modern africa on cotw.
