as ken said at 1:19 -ish, by him grabbing the slide of the gun he actually did nothing as he caught the slide going backwards from the blowback of a shot already being fired off. So in simple terms, in theory and gun mechanics he would've been shot already and its just him catching the slide.

This blue stick is actually called Kubotan. The origin of kubotan is quite fresh, it was created in the 20th century by the master of martial arts, Sōke Takayuki Kubota. Even tha it looks funny its pretty usuful self defence tool. Common uses include hardening the fist (fistload) for punching, attacking vulnerable parts of an assailant's body, and gaining leverage on an assailant's wrist, fingers and joints. With keys attached, it can function as a flailing weapon. As a pressure point weapon it can attack any point a finger can, but with greater penetration because of the smaller surface area at the ends. For example, a law enforcement officer may wrap his arm around a suspect's neck while simultaneously digging the end of the Kubotan into the small of his back.

I'm a martial artist. Even though it's funny to watch these clowns, what they're doing is incredibly dangerous as some people think real life works this way and they'll get killed. I'd love to watch a demonstration of these guys fighting a real agressive opponent who knows what they're doing. They would get mauled in camera. Just get some pro airsofters or paintballers even and try to get the weapons out of their hands. Good luck with that. It's sad how delusional they're.

@@LuigiGamesful Dude no. not chill out. he is exactly right. Fake martial artist straight up put people in danger and have caused peoples death. This is nothing you can not take serious at the core, even though us martial artists laugh about it, we do it because we spent all our anger and tears already.

Petition for pewds and Ken to actually try the things in the tutorials. The pressure and pain point are actually true. And if someone presses a metal pointy stick in that dip by your clavicle, damn right you're gonna go down

Nothing like watching two people ignorantly judge defense techniques that they know nothing about, all while perpetuating their public image and need for acceptance. Many of the defense points mention are based off pressure points/motor movement, but that requires an open enough mind to see :)

@@lillithbug He's actually right. I've been doing mixed martial arts for a few years and a lot of the moves rely on joint manipulation and pressure points... On the other hand... the gun self defence moves are a bit shit. Real self defence instructors will tell you: When held at gun/knife point, always comply/placate your attacker, however if you know for sure you're about to die you could try those moves as a last resort.

Almost all of it is complete bs that will get you shot within a heartbeat. If someone has a gun pointed at you the second you make a move for that gun they are either going to do one of the following A. shoot you, or B. backup away from you so you cant grab the gun.
