It’s always nice to see new authentic restaurants coming down to our city from Mexico! Putting San Diego Mexican food on the map!

Omg! The Taco legend from The Taco Alley in TJ! So many memories from the 80's. So many families would look forward to these amazing tacos 🌮. So much nostalgia 😢.

Much respect to Cachetto for doing his best at pronouncing "Las Ahumaderas" correctly. He's very professional.

Going to give them a shot , tacos el gordo has terrible parking and customer service Newcomers usually try to impress Gordo is overpriced for the service you get. Sometimes you wonder if you’re invisible there with the dumb lines they make you stand in. this ain’t Mexico. A higher grade is expected in gringo land. Just a fact.

I just went there a few hours ago and spent $50 for 9 beef tacos and 2 drinks. It's very expensive and don't recommend it, they also automatically add service charge which I don't know why because I served myself ans got up for everything. It's good, but not $50 good. I'd rather just go to TJ, I'm giving up on San Diego Tacos.

I definitely don't recommend this place unless you want to over pay for bad food, bad service and uncomfortable old metal chairs and rusted tables it's like being in an antros from the 70's

*LOL. In Tijuana they probably opened in under two weeks with the appropriate "tip" finding its way into the appropriate government officials pocket.* In San Diego it took TWO YEARS for approval after paying up to the appropriate government entity.

They gave me a long lasting present after eating a green onion there 3 years ago....h.pylori and i had intestinal issues since. We live in San Diego but i will make sure to never set foot in this restaurant ever again.

That poor carne asada looks dry as heck man, I’ll stick to eating tacos that I make in my backyard.

I like how the reporter named Jessie pronounces the name of the restuarant. I don't understand what he said, but I guess that's my fault...but it's so cool how he said it. What was that again? Las what??? I didn't see any gingos or mayates in line. Hmmm?

@@MikeyLee559 Tacos gordo is VERY expensive now averaging about $4.50 PER taco and the $24 for the carne asada fries. Fu**k that, those kinda prices are not sustaible for any taco business. I'm just going to TJ instead, alot better and authentic.

Tacos de mi casa are 1000% better ✌️😀 always made with usda Prime Arrachera meat, guacamole made with 100%real aguacate🤗 and salsa de molcajete with a side of frijolitos de la hoya😊😁👍mmm oh! Almost forgot to mention las tortillas are from tortilleria Sahuaya the best 👌
