The funding was shut down cause it gave millions citizenship without vetting! I guess it doesn’t really matter as of now 2 police officers were killed yesterday from an illegal! Several people across the country have been either raped and killed! Drugs pouring in… one death is too many! He has the power for executive order to just close the border, little too late! Democrats came up with bipartisan border deals in 2006, 2014, 2018 and 2014. Republicans rejected them all. Republicans don't want to fix the border. They want to complain, rile up their base and campaign on immigration. We had a great border deal going and Trump had the maga senators kill it because he didn't want President Biden to have another win. Plus, Trump wanted to campaign on immigration. Have you heard his "They're poisoning our blood" Hitler like speech? Trump was able to close the border because of the COVID pandemic.
