I feel terribly lucky to have met her. She is a wonderful singer/songwriter and apparently a wonderful person as well. Her and i 'rocked'. I hope our shared 'juju' benefit the both of us.

Wow what a great set that was. She has such a great voice similar to Emmylou Harris but still very much her own beautiful tone.

What a wonderful find! I'd lost track of Tift and kick myself for it but, now, with this new work, she has me drilled in....

With the incredible Eric Heywood. I've been lucky to see him with Tift and with Gary Louris's solo band and sitting in with the Jayhawks. His list of credits is lengthy.

Eric Haywood is an extraordinary musician and humble husband to TIft, a father. Eric was trusted to play Tift's oldest acoustic guitar during Dusty Old Man.

Exactly. I listened to this interview when they broadcasted it live..and no shoutout to Eric Heywood, one of the best pedal steel players since Rusty Young and Al Perkins from the 60s

@@gordonschenck1672 Per Rod Johnson, in a comment 7 months later, there was a shoutout to Eric at 15:00. But yes, watching him play would have been far better yet! ...

Ear Trumpet Labs. I first heard/saw them when watching The Milk Carton Kids video. I love the sound too. More people are discovering them now
