It is a full on crime that Tift Merritt is not better known.... a real crime, she's fantastic!

Beautifully performed and sung. Getting strong Gord Lightfoot (music) and Joni Mitchell (lyrics) vibes here. I didn't know about the recent album but I'll definitely check it out!

Me too. Songs from Home Episode 6 of Mary Chapin Carpenter's in which she mentions Tift Merritt for covid19 doing a "Nightcap" from home after she puts her kid to bed. Looking forward to more from her.

I don't see the accompanying guitarist identified anywhere here. He's stellar. Anyone happen to know?
