I am getting a "Flower Power" vibe from this shirt and it's pretty groovy!

When you were rinsing the shirt I thought oh I can't wait to see how it turned out because the colors are so bright and beautiful. Then when I saw the final shirt I was like oh my goodness it is so beautiful. I just love the colors I'm overwhelmed it's so pretty. I'm not usually one to comment very much but this just blew me away

The final results are always lighter after it’s washed and dried. It was really cold when I made it so I don’t think it’s as vibrant as it should be. I still love it though. ❤️🌈

Yay! For liquid yes, small pleats. Ice dyes are forgiving. I often find larger pleats on ice dyes to be aesthetically more pleasing to the eye. ❤️🌈

makes me think of an aster glowing in a sunshiny sky. :-) all the colors look great.

l see a diff. with dye over ice which i will try next time as i looove this Steph !

It looks like you have the small end (the blue end) at the lower end of the incline? Yellow end up higher? Very beautiful!

I love this. I am doing extremely large pieces so using ice and so much powder might be an issue. I am going to try this using the liquid mix and pray I have as much success!

Umm 🤔 I use steam with my iron. You just want to get all the wrinkles out before taking pictures. It makes the dye pop! ❤️🌈

I'm completely confused by the way this thing turned out. I mean the peach was at the top and the blue was at the bottom. Why does this look like a big blue flower? The flow looks like it's going the opposite direction it should be. The end result is beautiful.

I don’t think I explained it very well. The starting point (the underarm) I placed at the bottom of the gutter instead of the top. It’s flowing towards the underarm. So, you are correct in your observation of the direction. ❤️🌈

Because this method is called ice dyeing. It causes the dye to split into alternative colors and it’s just another way of creating tie dye. ❤️🌈
