Artists’ vision of what the future finished art will look like and from that vision knowing how and where to fold/crimp together is mesmerizing to me. It beautiful.

you don't think its done on intuition? creative processes aren't moving from A ('imagined end result') to B (actual end result).

@@bartjuhbeekmans they are if you are trying to make a certain design in a tie dye shirt. I mean if you want a spiral pattern you have to know how to crimp/fold it to know that the end result is the tie dye pattern you wanted.

@@lydess_ Exactly what do you mean? You'll have to put in more context, than just "??". A question mark is a sign of misunderstanding or perplexity, putting two only accentuates your unknowing thoughts; to put two question marks without anything else isn't all that helpful. If you're unsure on something then addressing the problem is the best way to go about it, rather than just displaying you're uncertain of whatever it may be.

@@terriffingtea i am uncertain of what you said. i didnt understand anything you wrote, did you just not understand what kelly loomis wrote or are you just trying to make fun of them? i also infact dont have to put more context than two question marks because its predictable of what im questioning about. the only thing you can predict im questioning about is your comment. i simply did not understand it. its not a specific part of your comment its the whole thing. i don't know if your just a 7 year old kid trying to look smart or a 50 year old man just being stupid because no matter which one you are you're still just going to be marked as stupid. also, now that you have read this far, i just want to tell you that we wasted at least 5+ minutes of each others time
My favorite thing to do is to keep a spare wet tshirt near by, and use that as a rag to clean up all the spills and drips. Comes out really cool looking

So u guys like sit at home and tye dye stuff all day?
it never fails to amaze me when you combine the blue and the yellow to make the green part of a gradient. like, i GET that that’s the most basic color theory there is, but it still gets me every time
You make pleating look so easy. Your folds are a work of art by themselves, never mind the rest of the tie-dye -job itself. Absolutely amazing, this is truly inspiring. :o

Yes! The first time I watched, I skipped to the "good part" when they revealed the finish product. However, I had to go back and watch the entire thing to see exactly how they got the folds so symmetrical and perfect! Amazing. I would love to try doing this some time.
Absolutely masterful. It looks like you’ve managed to re-create the chakra points, or at least some of the chakra points, in a tie-dye T-shirt :-)

Did not expect it to look that good. Great work.
Just came up randomly on my feed but I was mesmerized and couldn't stop watching the preview. I had to see how it would turn out. This is probably the COOLEST tie-dye job I've ever seen. Absolutely fantastic ❤
That's beautiful ❤️. I love the colors you used, and the design.
The twinkle of white left in the diamonds are a great effect! Also like your use of grey and black which accentuate the rich colour while holding the whole tee down from going rainbow la la. The folding………mesmerising!
This was absolutely satisfying, clean, and professional. Very top notch.
I have seen a lot of ART in my long life but nothing like this! This is amazing and you are a true ARTIST!!!
That looks AMAZING!!! I love tie-dye so much.
I'm wondering, are you able to calculate in advance how to fold and where to put the colors to get the result of a prepared design, or do you "wing it" and go with the flow, knowing more or less what it will do in the end via experience? In any cases, this is gorgeous. I've never had any interest in this before but you definitely gave it to me !

Thank you! First I imagine what will be the end result so I planned it in my mind, from folding and what color to use. Then while working, I'd say wing it and go with the flow. I'll admit, sometimes I my self surprised with the end result. ✌️😅

lol, speaking of Wizardry... I think I just pulled off some of my own magic with some Tulip One Step dye that I bought to Introduce myself to the craft. I dyed some bib overalls and the are curing right now, I want to know how a master like yourself suggests rinsing, and washing it for the first time? I don't have synthrapol, but I saw you use color safe bleach to do the same thing I'm guessing? If so.I have clorox color safe bleach, not sure if any brand will work. any suggestion would be awesome. All I know is I'm an ultra noob to this art and have just made what has the potential to be ultra epic, and I want to make the final result last. I realize you don't use that basic dye I'm referring to, but I figure with all your experience you could steer me in the right direction. ANY reply is wonderful, thank you, it really means a lot to me! If I'm right, and they turn out Insane I'll share them with you. Thx again :) Keep inspiring!!!
Wow. I'm impressed.
Another excellent creation! I always forget to tell you I like the music you select for your videos. Thanks
