Fantastic explanation, as usual, Rodney. All this time I've been playing this game, I never realized that thematically I was supposed to be *riding* these trains. I always thought I was *building* them. You really do learn something new every day.

Thank you so much for this video. You were concise and pleasant to listen to. I bought Ticket to Ride - Europe (and India/Switzerland expansion pack) as a surprise for my group of friends. I watched a video and it's pretty complex for us newbies (me especially as I will be presenting the rules of the game). .. So I'll be buying this original, easier format. You've given me confidence that we can learn it easily enough and then venture onto Europe - with ferries, tunnels and more options. .Thanks so much!!

I've been curious on how to play this since I've seen them in Wal-Mart and Target. Especially the London one since I recently became married and we visited England and took the train and the "tube" many times during our 11-day visit. Like many here this video is not news to me but I still enjoyed watching every minute and was keen to pick up any explanation pointers I may have been lacking previously. Although I think exploring the different maps in people's own time is a good thing, I think there could be room for a small addendum video just covering the rule variations in the other games. I don't know how practical that would be in practice but I know some of the newer rules can be rather advanced and could benefit from a Rodney explanation. Thank you for this video and I eagerly await the next
