I have reels that I bought in the 1960"s that I still fish with, the key is never put away wet or dirty. I fish a lot so I do cleaning and lube a lot more than most will. I got 40-year-old Hardy's that is still going strong. The Salt is really tough on things. I will rinse and dry everything after a day on the beach. A Tibor should last a person his or her whole fishing life, there children and grand children.

Sorry this comment or question is from another video leader selection I understand the dividing by 3&4 to determine leader but what do yo do when you get to the 2/0 -6/0 hooks. Thanks

After using a Backcountry Wide CL in saltwater, do you need to remove the discs and check for salt? Or is soaking both the base and the spool in freshwater sufficient? Thanks!
