Kim Jong Kook is one of the highest pitched male vocalists in Korea.He can sing the highest note in She's Gone as if he's just talking.The high notes even for female key is nothing to him; so he's highly respected in the industry. His killing voice is a must see. Leessang is a legendary hiphop duo who always has a female vocalist accompanying them. Gil is a famous producer.He's like Korean Timbaland. And Gary is actually an underground rapper who's been active over 20 years.In this song they are featured by Choi Jung In a well respected K-r&b singer. B2ST is the vocal power house of 2nd gen. Before BTOB/EXO, BEAST was the group with every member being power vocalists, all can rap and dance. They were originally 6. Now they are 4. After their contract ended they didn't wanna go through lawsuits for name trademarks and founded their own company and changed their name into Highlight. They also produced the idol group ''The Wind''. I think their Killing Voice was the first ever Kpop group Killing voice and it was so good that Dingo started invited idol groups to Killing Voice. Before them it was always soloists or vocal groups. Also the live performance of ''fiction'' with the Symphony Orchestra is amazing. PS:In my 20 years Kpop adventure from 1st gen till now ''Fiction'' is still my top pick. Especially the vocal layering starting in your vid from 15:22.

I recommend checking out the lyrics for Leessang, they're quite deep. Also, 7:20 is Lee Hyori from FINKL, she made a cameo :) Kim Jong Kook has an incredible voice, and he's very well-known in Korea. Defo check out his Killing Voice. As for Beast, I highly recommend Rainy Days - it's a very well-known ballad by them!

There is actually a story behind "loveable". This song was written by one of KJK’s former songwriters when he was in Turbo, but no one took it. Finally, the songwriter gave the song to JK. It is said that when JK just left the group, the composer was coerced by KJK's former boss and could no longer write music for JK. Later , the composer felt sorry for it and sent it to him to express his apology. As a result, this song and another song "Walking in One Spot" helped KJK win the Best Singer Award from the three major Korean TV stations that year, and KJK became the only holder of the three major awards in Korea.

Kim Jong Kook does a fitness focuses YT channel, but he's most famous as being one of the Running Man hosts. They always use to play lion and epic colosseum BGM for him when he playfully bullies his castmates, but it's in good fun as they are all super close. He was part of a duo called Turbo from the 90's 1st kpop with dance pop songs, later doing solo songs like this. The girl in the Leesang video is Lee Hyori who you did a TBT before, she only acted in the video. One of the members of the Leessang duo Gary, was a beloved original member of Running Man too, so it's a fun coincidence. As another comment mentioned, there is another member of Running Man named Haha who is part of a reggae duo "Haha and Skull". Their most famous song is DANG DIGGI BANG, they did a performance of it with Hwasa that was pretty fun. They also featured on an early Oh My Girl song.

Im sure ive seen him then and just didnt put together who it was obviously, ive seen so many clips of that show, id imagine ive seen him. Funny how things come back around like that. I like everything from Lee Hyori, but im still not familiar enough to always be able to spot her yet lol

You guys should definitely check out Turbo for your throwback series. Their songs are very fun, especially Twist King and Black Cat. I would recommend watching their lives instead of the MVs because the quality is much better and you can really enjoy the choreos (which are a big part of what makes this duo so enjoyable imho)

Kim Jong Kook is a unique singer with an incredible high note. Also, many of his song lyrics are very emotional. The song “One Man” was such a big hit that it was selected as the song of the year by all broadcasting companies that year, and they also released many hit songs. BEAST group name is changed to Highlight because CUBE don't let them keep the name after they left the company. You guys should check more of their songs. One of the underrated 2nd gen boy group. Some of their title tracks are - Shock - Breath - On Rainy Days - Beautiful Night - Shadow - Good Luck
