Those 2nd gen Rams are just beautiful. One of the finest trucks to come out of Detroit in the 90’s...

Remember that the 2nd generation Ram is actually the first year in the Chrysler LH platform along with the Dodge Intrepid Chrysler Concorde and Eagle Vision!
The first vehicle I ever drove was my uncle’s brand new ‘95 Ram 1500 4x4, short box with the 5.9L and Laramie SLT trim, in bright red. Mickey Thompson Classic II wheels with BFG All Terrains. It was a really sharp looking truck.
I always loved this body style of dodge truck. I now own a black regular cab long bed 4x4. It's got the 5.9 magnum with 200k miles and still runs like new. I just need to go through and redo the suspension. And replace the front bumper. I got it off of my grandparents
I have a 98 dodge ram 1500 my parents bought for me for my first vehicle when I was 15. Today I still have it and I am 27 years old now and it has 293K miles
Friend of my Dad either restored or bought a restored 2nd gen Ram almost a decade ago now. An emerald green, V10 powered, single cab, long bed, chrome wheeled, 5 speed manual driven dream! Every time I see it it looks like it just rolled out the factory. Probably only drives it just often enough to make sure the gas in the tank hasn't gone bad..
I have a 94 1500 4x4 The output speed sensor housing needs replacing . Other than that, it still a beast.
I had a 98 Ram I bought used with the 318 and around 230 000km on the clock.. Unfortunately the motor needed a rebuild.. was used harsh.. I to this day regret selling it cheap, should have had it fixed.. But now I have a 2013 Ram I adore.. I was a kid in 1994 when this truck came out and to this day I am a dodge boy
Old dodge trucks Back when trucks are solid trucks still see them on the road today

Motoring TV is the Canadian version of MotorWeek.
A few years later ford (who had massively more truck sales) changed their style of trucks to match dodge

Back at a time when you either had a Chevy, Ford or Dodge and they were all reasonably priced and built to work as well as enjoyed to drive. Nowadays, they are simply, an overpriced laptop with a box attached to it.
I love my 97 1500 5.9 4x4! It's been the most reliable vehicle I've had, and is a blast to drive. Drove it back and forth across the USA last year and not s single problem. ❤️
I love my 96
My grandfather bought my dad's ram 1500 v6 1994 just that year...and it's like new today except for two or three scatches, no mechanical issue with it and it looks just awesome.
This makes me happy to watch.
I have a 98 Dodge Ram 1500 200k on it with original engine and transmission still going strong

Fun fact. 98 is the only year with the newer dash with a pullout headlight switch. They went to a knob in 99’. Also power outlet and airbag switch are in a different spot. Therefore 98 has its own black gauge bezel. Think twice before you break it pulling it out!

Mine has only 86k. All original still😄 5.9 engine. I guess mine has a lot of life left hopefully. Never had any problems yet. Except for a few bad paint spots it still looks brand new.

1994 RAM 2500 5.9 Cummins 12 v such a great engine especially with the 5 speed manual.
I had a new ‘94 SLT in high school. It was truly a nice looking truck. I have since had a 2007 Ram Sport, 2019 Laramie Sport and now a 2022 Limited.
We want more dodge ram commercials!!! :)
I love Ford truck but the 1994 Dodge ram truck is awsome
Those 5.9 diesles are hard to come by.
Back then they were afraid of airbags going off at random times? I go over bumps that would scare them

They have been testing them since the late 70’s. People were not a fan of them until they became standard around this time. Took a long time for people to like the idea. Even engineers.
That's awesome!
I had a 2000 ¾ ton that's gone to live as a plow truck. You have to get them rustproofed or they would turn to powder
i have a 94 2500 man i didn't know that it came with more options
1994 Dodge Ram is the 2nd Chrysler vehicle added to the LH class of vehicles!: Dodge Ram Dodge Intrepid Chrysler Concorde Eagle Vision
A melhor pickup ja produzida ram 1500, pena que no brasil aja tão poucas e as que se encontrão em bons estados são um absurdo de caro, desdo o inicio da sua chegada aqui no brasil ja se tornou uma pickup de colecionador.
Even now in 2019 I think power windows are an excuse for more things to break

“It uses the new 134A instead of Freon” uh you mean instead of R12.. it’s ALL Freon. Lol
For those that bitch about truck costs, this was a $24k truck in 1994. That equals $43k today. Think about it.
2:54, he actually said that a Dodge Ram got 25.2 miles per Gallon!! Not in this universe! 5:40, The center console is an office with room for a fax machine, or even a com puta! Hahaha! I hope no one believed this garbage!
