The show about cars and the people who drive them!
Airing nationally in Canada across the TSN network, Motoring TV was first launched in 1987 and has been on the air ever since, making it TSN's longest-running program.
In addition to testing the latest vehicles each week with well-known journalist and gear head Graeme Fletcher, our resident mechanic, Bill Gardiner, offers tips for the driveway do-it-yourselfer, while Canada’s foremost automotive journalist, Jim Kenzie, unabashedly provides his opinions each week, which are often provocative and uncensored.
Add in a cast that includes the face of Motoring TV, Brad Diamond, Two-Minute Test Drive host Russ Bond, and truck guru Howard Elmer, and Motoring TV is your top source for news and views on the automotive industry.

Thanks so much! I was stuck at the gas station and this worked right away.
Wow. This works like magic
thank you so much
Thank you so much for this! Just saved me frantically calling everyone to help
What does the science say?
Awesome. Thank you
I’m a heavy equipment technician and I work on equipment worth millions of dollars and not a single one of them uses some shitty oil type filter. They’re all paper primary’s with a paper or foam type secondary. K&N and similar are garbage. Increase airflow is gained by A: more surface area on the filter or B less filtration.
I had a 99 Leganza way back in 2009 for my first car. It had 100,000km and was immaculate but had a lot of issues! AC was broken, heater core rusted out, had the head reconditioned before i bought it and then the main bearings started failing. It would idle for 30 seconds and then start chugging until u revved it. Sometimes it wouldn't start at all for ages in the morning. It was pretty amazing how crap it was for such a well maintained low km car. I guess thats why they are mostly gone! My dad had a manual Lanos tho and that was a great car !
I love it I have a 2004 crossfire by the way maybe we can meet up one day
What happens if it’s locked in the middle? Just happened to my car, key isn’t event budging !!

This literally saved my life your such a baddie 🫶🏽😘
Super helpful
Absolutely stunning car. I'd do anything to have this and an early 90s Buick Park Avenue...
If the Aztec is the answer, how stupid was the question 😂
ty masbro
thank you broooo this shit actually work
How does it handle in winter?
I know this is older, but for an automobile critic he should know that a 16” wheel spare tire can have a tire that’s the same outer diameter as a 17” wheel. Really a foolish thing to focus on. Example a 33x11.50/16 is the same size as a 33x11.50/17!! There’s just a difference in the sidewall. The important numbers are identical! 😂😂.
You know this happened with my car, but my dumbass of a friend didn’t believe me when I said to always fix the wheels, so here we are watching this video…
Most KZreadrs these days would try to make a 15 minute video. Thank you for a concise explanation.
Follow your owners manual!
And what do I do if the steering wheel won’t move at all
video saving people 💙thank you good sir
Strange they could not make it, yet Hyundai and Kia did.
Thanks for your help
Bullshit the fuel savings are almost zero. Engine damage most likely!!
Cheers mate you’ve saved me from a hiding
Wish my Australian Mitsubishi Galant came with a 6 speed.
100 percent agree
Thank you😊
you goat
You just saved me. It just happened to me. I googled an your video came on. Thanks!
i love you
I buy this in brazil 2024 Thats is a very very rare car here I thought is only 1.300 in all Territory Pretty good car
As a cigarrete and coffee addict I was considering buying this, but that center console is just a no-go
Thank you 🙏 I just free my wheel after watching your video
Great car, major effort for an Olds comeback but the brand was damaged beyond repair by 1995 and it's line of grannymobiles
What a great Shell commercial. That being said. Science is science not matter if they are trying to sell gas or not. Have a turbo? Use premium. Full stop. No turbo? Buy normal gas.
This is why I love KZread. Thank you. Got out of work and the car was locked in the position.
They oughta teach this jn school or something, gave me a fright when I saw my car doing this Thanks for this guide, really easy to understand
Took my Toyota Tacoma in for service which was to rotate tires at 15000 mile checkup. (Been driving it three years.) The dealership could not rotate the tires because no wheel lock key in my truck. I only received two ignition keys at purchase three years ago. Did not even know what a wheel lock key was until this appointment. I had to order wheel lock key from the I.D. Lock Info card with my purchase package. One mechanic said to order a dozen of those. Another mechanic suggested changing those tires wheel locks out to regular lug nuts. ( I guessed they were joking.) First I had to order the wheel lock key to even get the tires off in the first place. I am eighty years old and do not want to have to keep up with some tiny item required to change a tire should I need one changed somewhere on the road or in a strange town. If a dealership could not remove a tire without a special tiny wheel lock key because they couldn't find one for it, how is anyone supposed to have one handy just for my vehicle. Once I get these wheels off, I am switching to regular lug nuts if that is a possibility to do so.
JP I wanna see you drift
Much respect for the Autism awareness!
Thank you so much for this video. ❤❤😊
Thanks!
Bought this exact year from "The little old lady next door". Was 12 years old with 58,000 miles. Loaded to the gills. Hands down, the smoothest, most comfortable car I've ever owned. Absolutely trouble free up to 130k. Only sold it when the Mrs. decided "she didn't look cool" in it and bought a Chrysler Pacifica instead. Yes, she regretted it. Also had a 1980 way back when. Loved that one too. If ever I find another in good shape with low miles (latest production years...say 2009-2011) I will jump on it. Sublime, rugged and easy to maintain. LOVE them!!
Has a '84 Jetta. It was a demo GL model. with about 9,000 km on it. It had about 380.000 on it when it bit the dust. Overall it was a very solid, comfortable vehicle. I found it roomy enough and had a nice clean interior layout. The trunk was impressive size wise. I thought the Jetta looked pretty good and it was adequately powered. The automatic packed it in at about 240,000 km, and it had a few issues with plastic hose connections failing due to heat stress. I learned to replace the timing belt, electric window regulator, seals, axles, some suspension parts and brakes. Relatively easy to work on. Worst experience I had involved my having to replace the heater core which leaked coolant everywhere inside. Terrible smell. Had to re and re seats, carpeting, and entire dashboard to replace a 68.00 part. (I bought the most expensive core).
It’s been 10yrs since this was posted and it helped me rn thankyou so much 🙏🙏
