Throw lateral revolution (Te-Guruma) for everyone \ sambo academy

Lateral revolution in judo Te-Guruma. Different gyms call call this throw different names.
goo.gl/fgFSqG - Тhrow Foot sweep
We call it “lift and turn” throw, some call it “fire extinguisher”. Call it what you want it is still very effective.

One must understand that the throw is done with your legs not your back and all throws should be drilled in one non stop continual motion. Sambo’s lateral revolution could be done in other grappling arts as well as long as you know all the details.
Sambo is a versatile sport because it has large amount of techniques in standing position as well as on the ground. Why can't you throw an opponent who's equal or stronger opponent? There are two main reasons. First - you're setting up and doing the throw wrong, and the second you're predictable and everyone knows your moves. In both cases your technique is flawed and something has to be changed. All progressive MMA fighters are incorporating sambo submissions. It's easily explainable due to limited time on the ground ( 2-5 seconds to catch and another minute to complete ). Sambists research the fastest and most effective ways to finish for years. Why does everyone want to finish fast? It's an opportunity to finish in style and preserve your energy. I know the taste of quick finishes like no other. 25 years in sambo, 13 World Championships in which i earned 2 golds, 4 silvers, 1 bronze and most importantly 90% of my victories happened before regulation time expired. I spent 20000 hours

I really liked how you tell to do the penetrating step inbetween the uke's legs. Even if he doesn't counter with a uchi mata or grapevine throw, they can just hook you when you attempt to lift them which is a real pain. Also love the little hip finish, looks like a shallow utsuri goshi. Bet it really turns them on their back even if they attempt to post with their arm.

With the step in you are rolling your hips as your entire body is lifting not just your arms. There is a moment in the step through where he can be balanced on your hip but then immeadeately dump him. There are other techniques that are easier with a heavier person but with proper technique and body mechanics, this still can be efficiently done!
