Video for my sons Nile and Chaise since they also have pickups - in case they want to clean the throttle body too! :) And if anyone else can benefit from this info - it's an easy job and should be done peridically in order to keep on top of that carbon buildup! When the carbon builds up too much, it blocks the airflow significanly when the TB is closed and your Hemi will run bad! Keep 'er clean folks! Peace!

dodge wanted to charge me $150 to clean the throttle body. i said no way, theres a youtuber out there that can show me how to do it for free with a can of throttle body cleaner. looks easy, heading down to buy a can and do it now, thank you

My dealer today quoted me $245 for the air filter and throttle body cleaning.

Ha! Stumbled across your video today. I wanted to clean my throttle body and I kinda laughed when you mentioned checking the perimeter of the hood for tools. I was replacing the halogens last night to leds because I did the fog lights and they didn’t match. Now they are nice and white and bright. Didn’t do the high beams but that’s next on the list.
Always hold the throttle body with the electronics portion on the top side so that when you spray in it the fluid does not seep between the rotating bar into the electronic unit. Great video.

Is a throttle body relearn procedure with a scan tool required after a removal and cleaning?
why not remove the butterfly plate by the 2 screws?
Any codes after doing this?
This video is for the 5.7 Hemi.
Never spray the throttle body directly. Spray on a rag and wipe on. Ask me how I know... *sigh* 2nd throttle body is on its 3rd or 4th cleaning using this method
