I always struggle keeping my lead arm straight in the backswing. Can you please do a video on that? 😊

It would be great for you to talk a little bit about impact in the short game and how you work the club or the loft under the ball while also trying to get a downward strike hitting the ground after the ball. I think a lot of that relates to not over accelerating, but covering that would be great. For the long game, hearing you talk about how to get the club to the top so that it's loaded properly--what parts of the body play what role--would be awesome.

How to bow wrists [and what the benefit of bowing versus not bowing are - not sure I understand], would be great. Is it from the start or just at the top of the backswing? I've started trying to bow wrists at the top of the backswing to replicate how pros in videos appear to have their wrists at the top....but feels very forced/ not a natural movement so I must be missing a few steps to get there.... so out of sync with swing and have been told it looks a bit funky.. Or maybe just to know how to have wrists throughout the entire swing. Thanks for the brilliant videos! Putting too maybe.....how to ensure a consistent / non-wobbly swing...which is probably down to the way arms are tucked close to body /rocking shoulders, instead of turning body....but still seem to get it wrong esp for long puts, a consistent strike /rocking shoulders, seems more difficult when swinging far back.

How do you make centre contact. Not heavy, not thin, not heel, not toe. What mistakes are amateurs making for centre contact and what can they do to improve.
Many people I talk to watch multiple channels trying to get better at golf and it messes up their game. I tell them to stick to one person and then send them here. I point out to them that Paddy has won majors and then ask them, "Why are you turning to golfers who scratch out a living from a pro shop and a KZread channel whilst trying to break 75?" Those who can, do, whilst those who can't, teach. But when you find someone who can do both, why would you want to go elsewhere? Thanks for what you do, Paddy. Even we seasoned golfers can learn much from the information and tips you pass on, and all at no cost. I will keep sending as many people here as I can. 🙂

Amen!
Paddy says these are tips for beginners, but I think these are great for everybody!
Putting the brakes on is the best tip ive come across. It's transformed my iron play. You have to implement it as he explains though or you'll have problems.
It’s like watching mike malaska with a different accent These drills really work, my game has changed dramatically , well worth the effort
The best golf tips on KZread - fact!! Would also agree re Mike Malaska. Another guy who was a playing pro to a high level and explains things nice and simple. Thanks again Paddy. Love it!!
Thank you so much, Padraig!!! And to anybody who wants to improve in the game: you just need 2 golf teachers. One is Padraig and the other one is Mike Malaska. The first drill he calls L to L drill. Follow both of them and you will naturally get better. I improved within a short time period from Hcp 11 to 7.3 currently. Last tournament I shot a 76, yes! Thanks Padraig and Mike, too!

I follow Paul Wilson and his body swing technique designed for older golfers. Says many of the same things presented here.

Paul Wilson insists on no arms or hands at all. Paddy quite the opposite.

@@NonStoppp3332 not true. He says arms should be passive and not active because power comes from the body.

We’ve heard different emphases eskay. I hear Paddy saying 95% of golfers need to activate hands and arms while Wilson teaches passive reactive arms as you have said. Alla best for you and your game.

I've followed Mike for several years, i actually play with the L to L because it's easy, consistent, easy on the body, and in control, plus i hit it plenty far enough, low single digits at almost 70
Amazing Padraig, started my golf journey 10 months ago and your golf tips are a great help to me. Thank you.
Thank you Padraig! This is the best video I’ve ever seen describing the release of the golf club. So many others say the release happens naturally. It does if you do the correct things. You e described it perfectly!
I always love watching your videos Patrick
Absolutely love these tips. Thanks for taking the time to share these with us. Awesome detail and very helpful.
I always instantly thumbs up his golf tips. They're always, that solid and well explained.

Great tips, Paddy 👍! I will surely teach these to my 3 little boys. 😊
Great tip on how to release the club. This has completely improved my contact. Thank you.
Thanks so much my coach 🙌
Padraig, Thanks for this Excellent video suitable for many golfers 👍.
Top advice thanks
hey...thanks tons.....love your videos.....Good Luck to you.
I play off 8, took this to the course and instant improvement 👍
He's the best.
I can easily hit it with a super open or shut clubface, no problem. I just never know which is going to happen 😅

Shorten your swing more...just do those half or 3/4 swings so you have more feel. Start like he shows in this video, easy, relaxed swing at half or 3/4...then play with the hands at that easy, relaxed speed...don't extend your full swing out until you can control that half or 3/4 swing...if you can't even control that then you shouldn't be doing a full swing at full power, it'll only get worse.

I have the same problem! I am now using reverse psychology. Want to fade, try to draw and vv
Thanks Paddy! So much nonsense taught, but this, as with all your tips, is the real deal.
your channel have addiction~ very good~
Good video padraig. Would you Mabe be able to do a video where you play 3 holes that involves course management and thought process along with nerve tips as you play the 3 holes
Just finished all your great videos glad I took the time to learn the new feels still working on the draw. Can you do a video on how important the low point in the swing is, mainly chipping in rough thanks for your videos I'm now a 9 handicap

Yes I can
Tip: why is it good practice to hit iron shots with the ball back in your stance? I personally enjoy the low ball flight and this also helps me to eliminate a push.
Definitely need a sign on the range: THE ONLY WAY TO STOP A SLICE IS TO HIT A BIG HOOK. YOU'RE WELCOME 😂
I can't stop rolling the club inside on the back swing and always loose connection with my arm structure at the top, if you have some tips ? anyway, great fantastic videos !
Great tips for all golfers!

Absolutely
Grateful for the channel. Commenting for the algo
Watch Paddy's feet and legs. That's what moves the club! It's a subtle movement but key to a good golf swing. Stop focusing on the arms and upper body. The hands and arms engage later in the swing. They are important but shouldn't overpower the swing.
Is Padraig in Orlando?
I am struggling with alignment; I'd like to turn my hook into a fade. Any tips?

Far from an instructor, but maybe further back for ball position ?
I have tried everything, I simply can’t get my 7 iron over 110 yards , my ball always flies high and sometimes slices happen, I don’t know where to get some help , have watched dozen of videos
The stopping part is really confusing and counter intuituve. Doesn't it make it more a golf hit rather than a swing?
I spend a LOT of time swishing when I'm just hanging around.

Very disappointment you are not coming to St.Louis to defend your title!
I am not sure that these tips are just for beginners, aye @padraigharringtonofficial ? Good stuff!!
