    I love bottom watering. I use the Earth boxes and the AC Infinity self watering bases with a fabric pot that's wrapped with Saran wrap about 3/4 of the way down. I realized for Living Soil, the all around dry back does more harm than good. Once i added the Saran wrap, the fabric pots grow like they're earth boxes. Always get CURTAINS of roots down into the watering basin. It's crazy!

    CO2, Real buckets, a 5x5 tent, a few new lights, putting my whole grow room on a separate breaker box with a back up generator, and adding ac/heat just for my lung room Is going to happen. My wife is so awesome!!! The grow room of my dreams. 5 tents total. New desk and shelf’s. One tent for each of 5 plant limit. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 This will make breeding easier for me by freeing up space just for it. The Real buckets. Well why the hell not. Everything Scotty you showed me or explained, has made me a better grower, Even in such a short time. Your like a college professor that speaks simple understanding. Something I've found that helps with water heavy containers and overall plant vigor is aeration or breaking up of the hardened top layer of grow medium. Even more so in plastic pots. Bamboo shiskabob skewers work well for this. I loosen medium a few times/as needed, from late seedling stage until a few weeks before harvest.

When setting it up that way the ppfd isn’t that high and have a chart of ppfd for the various stages I compare it to. I’m into small four plants at a time grows under lower wattage lights. Newer grower, lifetime smoker of some of the finest buds. I grow autos in dwc buckets. First plant I got 12oz dry. 8 or so was great buds and 4 was larf. I know had I tried my fan leaves, I'd had a better yield since more light would have made less part and more dense bud. When to defoliate? I just feel I'm going backwards removing "solar panels." The one plant per 1000w h.i.d. light,was not the best idea.However, when I first started growing,there was literally zero available information,other than if you were lucky enough to know someone who was growing.Alot has changed from the late 70s.The one plant per light idea was what was done provided one had a barn,which was the only suitable indoor grow room,lol.Lastely, don't pinch the top when the 1st pr of leaves come in, this also wasn't the best idea.

    I somehow like to believe that, most of the time, what people say was light stress was actually heat stress. Gave seedlings 1000PPFD before as they lived in the same tent as the mature girls, did my due dilligence in waiting until the second serrated pair of leaves showed up to put them in there, used a room greenhouse to keep humidity up and had no problem whatsoever. Studies by SANlight or Dr Bugbee also seem to reinforce the notion of 'after the second serrated pair of leaves, there is no too much light, just a higher electrical bill'.

The bloom time is 14-16 weeks. I have 10 week grow dots bloom. Will it be fine or Will I have to add anything else for nutrients for the last month and a half? See even today after all these years of growing I still fuck up lol. I am blaming the bong, the hash, and the excitement of a new a plant I never grown. Thanks man.

  • @ForbiddenMarketingSecrets

    @ForbiddenMarketingSecrets

    Ай бұрын

    How far are you into your grow cycle? We’ve added half a does of grow dots 1 week before flipping into bloom. It adds three weeks to bloom. The nitrogen still runs out soon enough not to mess up the bloom. More than half a dose, or less than a week before flipping, you’ll still have a lot of nitrogen in your flowers and you’ll probably have to flush the crap outta them before harvest.

    It is really confusing because water is literally “air”oxygen H2O , why can’t something breath when it’s submerged in air. Remember you can’t breath in water without almost dying.

    Finally someone with experience that agrees those scrog setups don't necessarily make more yields, they make more bud sites. If everything is dialed in AND you have it scrogged, the yield should be maxxed our.

    I agree. Can't stand those nylon twine all mixed up in my flowrs when harvesting. I like to give a quarter turn each day for full light angles coverage. Cheers

    @@mikemike1824 consider letting the plant build itself in the shape it wants instead of a low stress training rotation. Your buds that are good will be better. Larf is larf, turn it into hash. It will make branches to receive the light if you leave it stationary. Moving them stresses them and stunts growth.

    @@mikemike1824 why do you turn them? Doesn't that make all your buds mediocre instead of keeping it stationary and letting the plant adapt to its enclosure and grow branches and leaves where it knows to find light? That way you get some top colas instead of all finger nuggets.

    @@mikemike1824 the stress of turning your plants isn't increasing yield to be honest. It is stunting growth. Leave them in one spot and don't disturb them. They will all intertwine with one another and make their own scrog canopy.

    @@robertchiarizia9463 Hi Robert, I turn them so they get more light angles for penetration. Some buds are hidden under larger upper leaves, so they get more light by turning them. They do not intertwine because I leave space and they barely touch each others branches. I grow 9 plants per 4x4 in one gallon pots. I just go for quality, quantity is irrelevant for me. Like I said for many years now, give me a choice between 10 pounds of those new food names strains and an once of Colombian Gold of the 70's, I'll choose the once without hesitation. Cheers

    yes for the 2 plant system, they can be done diy also, but the Real Buckets just need to be put together and the air gap can easily be set, where as diy you need to dial it in with trial and error based of the buckets used

    Ph your ground soil. Always keep the topsoil shake it out . Wider holes for clones . Deeper for seeds. Lambert’s , bone and blood meal. Espoma herb and vegetable organic. 6 ft holes get you 8 ft wide, if you top 4 times.
