Fast forward to april 17, 2024 i bought my first bottle of the the breezeway blend. And on april 19, 2024 I completed my first bottle of breezeway blend. Hazaaahhh!!!!

Can't wait to get my hands on that Navy Grog blend!!!! This is just next level!!! So brilliant. It will be cheaper to make Tiki cocktails with these blends and less time consuming!!! Can Ed Hamilton make some more affordable Martinique Rums??? I find those to be the most expensive.

The only blends I've been able to find in Denver are the Overproof 151, Demerara, Jamaican Pot Still Gold, and the Navy Strength. Wish I could get the White Stache or Zombie Blend!

Love seeing Ed on again! I can't wait to pick up this bottle when it hits my area. I think it will go great in a Rum Barrel too. Just wondering, doesn't the Navy Grog traditionally include a bit of seltzer? Did you guys skip over that, or did the Beachbum omit that intentionally for the recipe accompanying this blend? I really hope that upcoming blend he teased at the beginning is a Mai Tai blend.

@@BreezewayCocktailHour Interesting, thanks for this response. I'm guessing maybe it's deliberate to minimize dilution, since this recipe calls for less rum than the original. But that's just speculation. In any case, what ultimately matters is that the cocktail tastes good and tastes faithful, and it sounds like Ed and the Bum dialed those parts in.

We just need a sign-up list for Hamilton Rum!

IDK if it’s legal or not, but I’d love to buy my favorite rums direct.

I’ve been bugging as many liquor stores in eastern Connecticut as I could, I’ve been looking in Rhode Island, and even a few in central Massachusetts. I need Hamilton rum and I have to go into NYC to get it. But YES!! I would get a case of Breezeway Blend Hamilton! And I’d drive to New York for it!!

Oh, I pretty much got the answer watching the video for 20 minutes.

Great episode Spike. Huge Hamilton rum fan as I have many of his bottlings. I’m curious why he dislikes Dr. Bird? I happen to think Dr. Bird kicks a** and is a nice compliment to some of Ed’s rums. I’m surprised he thinks down on Two James’ Dr. Bird.

You should see if you can get Beachbum Berry or Martin Cate or Michael Thanos or even Ray Wyland on for the 100th. Are those pyrex straws durable? I'd be worried about one break in a drink.
