Three phase electricity is connected at 400 or 415 volts by three active wires or phases and one neutral. this is mostly used in industrial and large commercial settings where powerful appliances are powered. again, as with our single phase meters, all three phase meters that we stock are mid approved meters.
Single phase meter
single phase meters also referred to as split phase meters are used in areas that require a minimal amount of power. this metering system is for running small loads as it is connected only at 230 or 240 volts. the downside to single phase meters is the high possibility of power failure due to a fault in the system.
MCCB (Moulded Case Circuit Breaker)
A moulded case circuit breaker is a type of electrical protection device that is used to protect the electrical circuit from excessive current which can cause overload or short circuit.
MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker)
Miniature Circuit Breaker it automatically switches OFF electrical circuit during any abnormal condition in the electrical network such as overload short circuitconditions. however fuse may sense these conditions but it has to be replaced though MCB can be reset.
