UK electrician. Once the 3 phases go to separate main switch. They become single phase, so if red is your normal live colour they should all be identified this way.

Very good pictorial explanation. To be more convenieunt to switch on or off EACH LINE separatelyl We can put 60 amps MCBs for each phase after the 3 phase meter connection instead of a single 3 POLE MCB. You may please name each instrument used in the power distribution like isolater, mcbs, 2 pole, single pole ,so that people will know how they look. Thanks for explaining making to understand even a layman.

There is a switch (prolly with mcb built in) for each phase after the 3 pole MCB.

Which app r u using

I'm running a 220v from the substation to a distribution box and need to have a 150 amps on it the cable was placed as a 4 conductor 4awg with 90 meters the distribution. Box is to be set up as a 3 phase 220v 3 hots and 1 ground.. I got hired in a job where I know not much I'm trying to learn fast but seem to be at a stop and need help

What is the device just after the Energy meter? Do you have a model number? I assume the 3phase is 400v, and this device steps it down to 240V?

That’s outgoing MCCB which feeds DB So you will have incoming MCCB then some fuses to protect the 3P KWH then the KWH meter then from KWH meter 4 wires (RYBN) goes to Outgoing MCCB and then from MCCB to DB

Where I live, our code says the same. Top, except if the breaker manufacturer allows bottom feed and then you have to clearly mark the breaker "Fed at bottom, " on the switchgear. On the other hand some countries like the UK, default is bottom fed. Depends on your local code.

Wrong connection, the line should be in MCCB first and split to meter RYBN and should go to 2Pole mcb that is the connection..plz do correction...
