We Pump out the Super Vault and replace the broken pump.

Did you sniff the hole first? Oxygen levels are important before entering a confined space

Although not criticizing your efforts or work, it sure seems that such a critical underground "Super Vault" should be better inspected and maintained and should be vacuumed out of all the dirt and sludge and debris that would easily clog a meager residential sized sump pump and a trashing dump of excess cabling spools left behind from an assortment of crews that never cared enough to mount their excesses and just abandoned the vault. What a mess.

I totally agree with you! You’d think the cable would at least be organized and hung on racks. That alone would make the bottom level easier to access.

That vault is a mess! Appears that you replaced the bad pump (which didn't look very old) with a like unit, but this residential 1/3hp pump appears to be maxed out in regards to lift, begging the question, is it even suitable for this purpose? Good video though!

Big no no using a vent 90° should have kept the long sweep 90°, really making that pump push against a lot more resistance , especially for an already undersized pump for that head height and size of that bath tub

The long sweep is not pressure rated. That 90 they used appeared to be a pressure 90 not a vent 90, they do look similar.

Ive seen some sketchy vaults before, but that one wins. I wouldve refused to work in there. Too many entanglement hazards combined with the water, big nope from me.

Yeah but work is always fun I did some in college Town Pennsylvania for Comcast all the other auditors were scared to go in the whole other than me and my partner and he didn't like it that much but it's the only reason why he did it
