Animals teach us compassion, love, friendship and gratitude. Elephants are intelligent and beautiful. I love elephants

Faa Mai was born free at ENP and hand raised by Lek and has never known hurt or pain, and Kham La was raised by Derrick the same way.

That is Fah Mai. She has had a very, strong bond with Lek since arriving at ENP. Lek often sings to her, there are videos of her doing so. Kham La has a similar strong bond with Darrick, Lek's husband.

Faa Mai didn't arrive she was born free at ENP and Lek year's ago got ENP world wide fame with her video's of her singing FAA Mai to sleep as a baby and Leh also did the same for Thong Ae. Faa Mai's adopted daughter.

That is so precious. I would love to see someone come and play some gentle classical music on a piano for them. I imagine it would be very soothing for them.

ENP pampers them in every way, they have gotten musicians from the community to play flute for them and they seemed to love it! There’s even a video of it.

Their elephant faces radiate love and fun! 😊

Awwwww, Faa Mai really does love Lek. She acts like both her baby and bodyguard. But I have a bad feeling it's going to be extremely hard for her when Lek passed away one day.😔

What an uplifting video. It clearly shows that if elephants are treated with respect and kindness that they will return kindness, even to humans. Thong Ae, Faa Mai, and Kham Lah are so fortunate to have Lek and Derrick in their lives. How wonderful it must be to have such a close relationship with elephants.

Lek and Derrick have dedicated quite some time of their lives to care for these amazing animals. They don't know about crime, shootings, ethnic cleansing or some other things we humans unfortunately possess. They only know about love, companionship and family. Just those three things along sometimes make them better that we are.

Lek and Derrick love and respect the elephants at the Park. They have dedicated their lives to these wonderful majestic pachyderms. Their interaction is so moving. Blessings to all.

The trust and love, the elephants have for Lek, and Derek is so wonderful and amazing to see. Elephants are so magnificent and have hearts that accept and love in such a beautiful way.
