Yes, his confidence increased after the great match against Selby at the Crucible. Another excellent prospect is 19 year-old Yuan Sijun, who lost to The Rocket 3-4 yesterday. I remember Hendry said he hadn't seen such a good cueing technique on a young player since Higgins and Ronnie in the 90s.

Cue action is pure perfection. Incredible. If you want to copy a cue action this is it. But not everyone will have that touch or feel it’s just impeccable.

Great player Prefer to watch him and ding from China play. He is like young Stephen Henry. Not letting the score affect him. Humble too 👍👍👍👍👍

His white ball position is so good, that you don't see him use exaggerated cue power and spin to move to next shots.

This is the best Chinese player with the most upside in my opinion. Ding has shown these kids the way but he was never a good enough long potter but the best in between the balls I have ever seen.

I believe that is what makes him so good,minimizes his movements,keeps his mind on his cuing action not on entertaining the fans with big and loud shot taking.

Hmm rhough he doesn't really have the cocky swagger that o sullivan has which imo makes his game that little bit more exciting to watch, having said that xintongs long potting game is hard to parallel
