Great battle!! Really liked the hoplite pick for the Thracians, I think that was clutch. But kudos to the Colchis player for the Mirco and build!!

That was a great battle between two skilled players. Hotel Soap made a good choice in bringing those more survivable hoplites. Char did well with Colchis but didn't have enough to win the battle. Char's micromanagement was excellent, though. GG to Hotel Soap and Char.

He could have won that battle, he needed to press the right flank as soon as the thracian cav went to his left flank.

Your casts have inspired me toplay Rome 2 again. Gonna start with some campaigns and then try multiplayer. Which campaign do you think is the most the fun to try?

I can't get a grip on either of these factions. I won a campaign with Colchis that was excruciating to play at times and had to use a mod that expanded their roster (just slightly, nothing OP). Thrace is just too frustrating.

great battle! but colchis by far had the better army. he used his cavelry too offensively, and should have accepted a line engagment which he would mostly win, with skirmisher suppiriority and stronger calv. on the other hand, if the thracian noble cav would have interfered earlier, this could have been more decisive.

I think if Colchis would have focused on the calvary early instead of the Scarmishers they could have won

As much as I laugh at the cold cheese meme, Colchis is pronounced with a hard "ch"

colchis lost on that general charge they never turn to charge which lost them the fight really close 1 wish it wasnt a win off of that charge an rather the other units though

Char is a wicked player, most players in SH are in general pretty top tier. I really struggle against them, Char included, definitely recommend bringing your A-game against them.
