Found that sword on my playthrough as a Carian Knight and went “huh, I’ll try it out, but I don’t think I’ll replace my main weapons.” I almost immediately replaced my main weapons.

@@incendiarypoprocks8700 I'm still early on in the DLC, and I really want the light greatsword, but I don't know where to find it. However, I also don't want to search where to find it online like through a guide or something similar, as I know that would negatively impact my experience with the DLC. So I was wondering, could you give me some hints on where to find it? Nothing direct - I'm thinking more like a pointer to the weapon's general vicinity.

I feel like it's capable of executing well-timed parries in general, which presents more potential advantages over parrying with the tip, though distance control could become a bit of a problem. On the flip side, an open centerline like this could make the opponent feel the need to heavily commit to strikes, especially if they're not a very reactive fencer. I'd need some sparring with this to know for sure, though. It also reminds me of some Italian rapier guards I've seen in the past.

That stance shows confidence in one's ability in combat. It provides the opponent with the length, as well as the identity of the weapon. Only a villain would do that!

The stance works even better with the full armored character depicted. That much armor with that stance is a silent invitation saying, "F around and find out".

Reminds me of a a martial arts technique. From a guarded stance if someone comes at you, you open your arms up, take a step back so they whiff, then slap/grab their arms out of the way as you go in to strike back. With a sword you can get a pokey pokey.

the light greatsword with the wing stance is SO fun. it might be one of my favorite weapons and playstyles in the game. I am also a big fan of the AoW: Square off. But I'm not a huge fan of straight swords, I'm more of a greatsword kinda guy. I really wish there was a greatsword equivelent to square off, or wing stance as they are really cool and fun
