Makes sense… Bc Gorr isn’t called “the God torturer” he’s called “the God Butcher”😂So I feel like a God of torture is never beating a God of butchering other Gods.

It's amazing how Disney absolutely tarnished Thor's best solo run, his greatest villain, and so many scenes that were a precursor to things to come. They didn't just shoot themselves in the foot. They suck started a shotgun from the get-go.

Disney weren't responsible for Thor 4, they gave Taika Watiti complete creative control over the movie, by fan request.

I find it adorable, Gorr doesn't see himself as a God despite being more powerful than a majority. He's the God of Self-Deciet. 😂

The reason why I don't think it'll smash records is I don't think there'll be a wide enough general public audience to make it a smash and that's based off this story. The story is great, however I think it plays heavily to comic book fans or Thor fans. If they want it to smash records, then I believe the script will have to be changed--it can't be a verbatim screenplay of this motion-comic, and Gorr's voice will have to be different. Even though I enjoyed it, it kind of got boring in spots--during Gorr's long winded speeches..so some changes here and there then it'll have a chance to appeal to wider audiences and maybe it can be a smash--maybe.

@@repeataftermeme75 I'm actually excited as to how it'll be presented on the big-screen. The more I think about it, the more I can see them keeping the voice. I also think since we're dealing with an OP being- a God butcher...then I'd like to see his voice be a mix of sounds. Using the one seen here and a mix of other strange sounds, wanes, cries..to give it added depth and strangeness. I would explore the idea of Gorr's skill with slicing-butchering, really show him in his element as a master of his craft that makes him a threat. Finally, I'd like to see Thor humbled and vulnerable..and then have him seek out/cry out for his trusted hammer when he's beaten down-I'd explore that personal relationship btwn Thor & the hammer..

After torturing my eyes, and mind through Love and Thunder, it really makes you appreciate the arc with Gorr that much more. As if it needed it. This was phenomenal and I myself cannot wait for Death of the Family! Awesome work as usual.

Watching it next! I've read this arc at least 10 times but I love it so much, now I get to listen and read it, one of my favorite Thor stories by far. That's why Love and Thunder made me so mad. MCU tries to cater to the normies now more than actual comic readers. Also I hated Jane Fosters Mighty Thor. Anyway, Excellent job man, hope you keep doing these because they are awesome and your channel deserves way more subs.

The guys who voiced Thor and The God Butcher in this.. give them all the awards ever 🏆🏆🥇🏅🎖Quite possibly one of the best Thor stories ever.

@@bennett420316 Yeah, I've trained under a few different voice coaches. I would especially recommend Stevie Vallance, but I don't think she's holding any classes at the moment due to COVID. Still, there are tons of resources online and you might be able to find someone who teaches over Zoom or something similar.

The fact that Thor ages, and is Mortal, shows that he, and all of the Marvel Comics and MCU "Gods" are not Gods at all, but Super Humans, like the Eternals.

42:32 that battlecry is so goddamn epic, the voice actor did an amazing job with every delivery but this one is my favorite. Can feel the rage and fury plus the power of what you'd expect from Thor during this time

Imagine Thor swinging Mjölnir so hard that the reverberations of the hits cracked a "nearby" moon. Thor's strength and overall ability is vastly understated in the MCU. I think he's the most nerfed of all.

I disagree, Hulk is by far the most nerfed character by the idiots of the MCU universe! He's beaten up by Thor in Ragnorak, then he's simply obliterated by Thanos in Infinity Stones. Shit, why didn't just have Iron Man beat him up too, oh wait a minute, they did have Iron Man beat him up in his Hulkbuster suit in the Ultron movie. Lol They only got him right 1 time at the beginning of these movies when director Joss Whedon I think it was had him beating up Thor in the first Avengers movie easily as it should be. Hulk has ridiculous strength that just increases the more he rages, and he rages like crazy when he's really mad when someone getting the better of him like Thor and Thanos were doing. His strength should have increased significantly to start beating the crap out of them. But you're right about them nerfing Thor's powers and strength too, although they have since turned up his power and strength starting with the Ragnorak movie. Them adding the lightning element and all to show how powerful he is or can be with his strength, and his father also telling him that he's not using all of his power. I think they've now made him really powerful at last, but the Hulk I think needs to be next. Hopefully, his next movie will show a major increase in power and strength.

It’s a shame the rest of Aaron’s run on Thor never quite matched up to this story arc.

This God butcher storyline helped me learn that you gotta watch the whole story unfold before casting judgment.

I came to you're channel by accident and by GOD it was the best accident ever. I just love how much time/effort that went into making this fantastic project and the voice acting was just phenomenal. I am definitely subscribing.

I think it started with Guardians Of The Galaxy or Age Of Ultron, I hate what they're doing to our favorite characters. I feel exactly same as you as a black man it’s nice and all they’re trying to be diverse far as gender and race but their cliche attempts at pulling me in are old and so played out now I’m so tired of their campy movie formats, I wish Disney had no rights to anything Marvel at this point but it’s not many other studios that’d be willing to put all that money into the production of one film.. Disney’s gonna have promos EVERYWHERE for their projects, like commercial advertising during Super Bowl they will pay for a slot easily and they’re gonna pay their actors big bank and have top of the line cgi and visuals, I wish the money politics didn’t get in the way of us fans getting a cinema Thor like how this video’s Thor is 😫

Found this by chance and clicked to watch by curiosity. No way did i expect to be hanging on every word by all the great voice actors, but also be watching and looking at all the artistic detail of the comic. Bravo!

Very nicely done! This was great to re-“read” the god butcher. Can’t wait till the live action interpretation. Cool they used the same image of the huge god beast that battled with black holes. Cool scene and image. Glad they pulled it exactly from the comics

Hate is not the opposite of love, apathy is, I didn’t care about Thor after watching the last movie, but after watching this adaptation it gave me goose bumps. It re-awakened a passion I thought had gone cold. Absolutely loved this work! The voice talents and writing was absolutely amazing! Can't wait for the next chapter! Thank you for sharing.

The artwork is like... the love-child of Barry Windsor-Smith and Alex Ross. Absolutely breath-taking. And the color... the art somehow retains it's pencil quality, with a pastel/colored pencil feel, it's dazzling. The story is just epic as well. I'm super stoked that The God Butcher will be in Thor IV!!! Hats off to the amazing voice acting, its apt justice for this visual masterpiece.

i don't undestand why the MSHEU never ever just looks at the original source, look at it and completely go the opposite direction, making thor more feminine, gods are a joke and taika waititi in his words said he's out to ruin our mythos! this is why i watch this now thank you!

2018 Thor . That would be epic...All Father Thor v Phoenix Wolverine, Supreme Doom, All Black Loki, the return of Gorr...all the voice acting was awesome to date on both the Thor sagas. Great work

This has to be the best voiced motion comic I've ever heard. The voice actor's are spot on especially for Thor and Gorr. ⚡⚡⚡🍺🍺🍺

Thank you for your time and effort into this video. The story of Gorr and All-Black are some of my favourite stories from Marvel. Also, your voice acting was impeccable. Well done!
