    People don’t remember just how despised Iron Man was in the comic community at this time in the aftermath of Civil War. Quite a few writers who disagreed with Civil War were having Iron Man get brutally beat down in various issues. It wasn’t until the Iron Man film and RDJ’s amazing performance that people started liking Iron Man again.

    I read somewhere that during the making of Civil War. There wasn't a lot of communication between writers, in the Iron Man Tie In's which were pretty well written. So while the writers of the tie ins where going one way, Mark Millar made the characters go the total opposite.

  • @antona.1327

    @antona.1327

    Iron Man was not despised. There was a division regarding his stance. As it was with any other major Marvel character who took a side in the political side of things. And everyone was getting beat up during Civil War. It's why it's called war and not Civil Debate. And Iron Man movie had nothing to do with anything, Jesus. The comics themselves did it with the fantastic run on IM by Knauf's. Also, it's funny how you mention MCU when MCU's very own so-called Civil War made Stark objectively on the wrong side the argument and a hypocrite when he blames The Avengers for something he is to blame while then contradicting his own motivation when forcing a 15-year-old teenager to do something against his will.

The other 2 being Wolverine who merges with the Phoenix Force and Franklin Richards who is destine to be the lone survivor of the 616 universe when it finally collapses and becoming the "Galactus" of the one born after. @@Gabe600Oh, both sides had a point, in fact, those points wouldn’t have crossed as bad had one (Tony) not been such a bitch about the biggest issue the other side had. Secret identities are important. F^ck, we have the f^cking witness protection program *BECAUSE* it is a well known fact that when criminals know the details of ether a law enforcement agent’s life, or a key witness to a horrific or big crime goes to testify, the criminals will use their connections to have that person killed or worse, have their family ether slaughtered or tortured. All so they can ‘set an example’ for anyone who tries to stop them, or to destroy important evidence that could have shut them in the slammer for decades/life. So we know that for f^cking witsec, yet the same f^cking mercy wasn’t being extended to the heroes who put their lives on the line DAILY?!? That’s where Tony crossed the line. Had he conceded on that simple point, I bet a massive amount more of the heroes would have signed up then. That was their only concern, and Tony proved their point valid when he allowed Spider Man’s life to be destroyed.

    this one has the exact same title as the zero video as well. coincidence is a possible cause, but idk. i can the difficulty of making comic related content, as there are a lot of books out there that aren't interesting enough to make a whole video about, and the sheer volume of books makes it difficult to sift through and find ones that actually are worth making a video about. that being said, it's not cool to farm views by copying someone else's content. i think this has been happening a lot in the realm of comic-related content on youtube. the same like 15 stories get circlejerked by every channel until the story becomes stale. there's obviously a limited amount of good stories out there, so to some extent there's going to be overlap, but it's not honorable to just see what other channels that are like yours are doing and then copying them. i'm saying this with good faith, as i believe mullet man has good intentions and is a decent guy, i just want him to take a step back and look away from the numbers for a while. people love bite sized stories that are super off-the-wall and defy average expectations, but the well will eventually run dry.
