Exactly! With the knowledge of Thor and Loki’s dynamically changing relationship throughout the movies, and that Thor has already lost everything else, Thor’s reaction to his brother’s death in infinity war hurts 10x harder. The utter pain of that whole scene really broke me.

Yes, Thor indeed loved Loki deeply. But in the endgame, when he travelled time and see Loki, he was like "who cares about Loki, look at that girl Jane, she was my girlfriend ehehe". Which really pissed me off. They slaughtered Thor's character and emotional arc in the Endgame.

@@sangikhiangte9904 I cried too cause it's such a heartbreaking scene. But Loki was never actually a villain. He wasn't even evil in Avengers since it was confirmed that he was being controlled by the mind stone in his sceptre, which, besides that it controlled people's minds, also fueled Loki's anger for Thor and Odin and controlled him.

Loki changes in every movie he's in, and not the illogical type of change. He was an insecure brat in Thor 1, lost and broken and wanting to be Thor's equal. In Avengers, he was lost as well, manipulated by Thanos. Thanos took advantage of his brokenness and rage and basically controlled Loki. In Thor 2, he was sad, wanting to avenge his mother's death, probably feeling guilty as he thought he was the reason she died, but definitely feeling guilty for saying she was not his mother. He did it for his mother, back then. In Thor 3, at the very end, he helped Thor and finally became so much more than just the God of Mischief. He had no self identity, but it was a good thing he finally realised who he was at the end. as he said it himself moments before his death: he is Loki, Prince of Asgard, rightful king of Jotunheim, *_Odinson_* , God of Mischief. He might not be the king, he might not be equal to Thor, he might be the God of Mischief, but that's okay because he is so much more than that, he is great in his own way and just because he's not Thor's equal doesn't mean he's not great. most importantly, he is Thor's brother, and he died protecting his brother. No matter how much he wanted to cut off ties with Thor. Thor had always considered Loki his brother, not caring about the blood they do not share, but I'm glad Loki's actions were like proof that he cared for Thor all along. He always was searching for a place where he belonged, too. He wasn't born Asgardian, but he wasn't raised a Jotun, he was always chasing after Thor, not quite understanding why he never seems to catch up. However, in the elevator scene in Ragnarok, when Thor said to him that he thought the world of Loki, it was proof that Thor never looked down on Loki at all, that Thor always thought of Loki as an equal. It took Loki a long time, but at least at his death he realised where he belonged at long last : by Thor's side, as his brother, fighting side by side, as equals. I remember him saying he doesn't have a home, and while that is true because people of both Asgard and Jotunheim wouldn't want to claim him; his home IS Thor. I'm glad he found a way back home ❤

It may not appear obvious but Loki really do loves Thor; he tried many times to kill Thor, but not once succeeded, not because he couldn't but because HE DOESN'T WANT TO. He could've just stab Thor at the chest or the head with a sword but he never did, instead he just stab him on the stomach or the side using a small dagger. Thor is a god, and he will survive a stab like that and Loki knows it. He could easily kill Thor if he wants to, but he didn't, he even took his place to die in the hands of Thanos as he could not bear watching Thor suffer anymore. And I appreciate him even more for that.

He might be a villain to the world, but to Thor... Loki is his personal Hero Through out his time in the MCU, he saved Thor's life four times. Each time willing to risk his own. Their march to jotunhelm, once in dark world, once in Ragnarok, then finally Thanos. Each time knowing that he don't actually have to. He could very well get himself out and leave Thor to die. He might even benefit from it. Each time knowing that he might die. But he did it anyway. *Four times.* How many times he tried to kill Thor? *Actually* tried? I can only find one. That time he sent the destroyer to Earth. Even then, he could have the destroyer blast Thor's head off quite easily. But no, Just slap him in the face...

Thor is a great hero saving the world. I have great respect for him at that. But I don't like him. Just...He kinda failed Loki. Yes he loved Loki deeply, but he's not there enough. You could say that he's always too busy saving the world... That he sometimes missed out on saving his brother's world.

@@victormillen8393 he also protected Loki in most of the fights, as you see in the dark world, when Loki was going to blast and was going towards infinity,he protected him..he saved him from avengers by saying that Loki is the culprit of Asgard also,so he is taking him...he took Loki along with him from noobmaster during ragnarok, you should watch their fights that they fought together, you will soon understand.. Both were always there for each other and showed their love and helped each other in a different manner, as they were Gods ,their way of expression was different, it takes time to understand what they actually mean

Loki looked like he knew what he was doing, and when he told Thor that "the sun would shine on us again" he looked like he knew he was going to die. I think he has a plan, and it would be so cool to see Loki leading the armies of Valhalla against the immense force of Thanos' remaining army.

Loki is my favourite character in MCU but Thor's story was just so sad and was so awful when he lost his mother, father, Heimdal, his whole nation, Tony and Loki for like three times

Can we just talk about how patient Thor is, Even how much Loki is a pain in the ass he still wants him to go home with him and be the brothers they used to be. He literally just want him back.

I have never ever seen a character with such a background and so complicated and misunderstood, before I knew him I always go the concept of " If it's a villian, hate them". But after I got deeper into Loki's personality, his story, life and family, why did he case so much trouble, I understood and since then he has been one of my top 5 favorite HEROES. I see Loki as a hero, and nobody can change that. This video is awesoem, LOVE IT.

yeah and the way he tried to trick thanos....that was weak for him. he knew the guy, so surely he had a real plan.heck, he's got powers we still have yet to see. everyone else is getting stronger...surely he is due to power up too. I always thought they were holding back on his character a little. I wasn't sure if it was because they wanted to focus more in the heroes or what. I've got two theories I'm sticking with until we have the sequel come out and say otherwise.

Thor hears this voice too, could it be, yes, it's his brother Loki, who's throat Thanos crushed with his bear hands. Loki: You will NEVER! Be a God! *Loki then somehow breaks Thanos's grip on Thor* Thor: You're alive? Loki: Nice to see you too brother... Thor: You've got to stop dying when I need you... Loki:...I'll keep that in mind *the two take on Thanos together with the other avengers*

Ocean Spray lmao. tony cant make an infinity gauntlet. he cant create a power of neutron star. probably you miss that part where Thor described guardians that only powerful mentally balanced person able to wield weapons of nidavellir. so except Thor (may be Celestial Quill able to do so but he is struck into soul stone) no one out there who can wield such a power such a weapon. otherwise that power drove them to madness. so stark type of monster maker can't do any shit.

I cried so hard when Loki died. I was just like “this movie can’t be good, if it starts like this”. I really feel Loki. Well, I hope he’ll come back, but if not, I’ll just keep him in mind as the one, who kind of sacrificed. RIP, Loki Prince of Asgard. I just love the relationship between Thor and Loki, it’s deeper than the relationship of the most characters.

The hope and emotion in loki's eyes when he said "I could have done it! For you!" To Odin was literally just shattered when Odin was like "No, Loki." That was truly one of the most emotional moments I have ever had and...well...Odin is a bad friggen parent.

Im crying. Remeber me of when my brother died in a car crash. And when he crashed (i was in the car) he flew out the front window and the first thing i saw was blood all over the car seats and me. So i tried to Open the door but ut was stuck. When i was going to check if my brother was okay, he wasn't there. I, saw the hole in the front window and crawled out that way. He was just laying there, no movement. I checked if he was breathing, but he didn't breath. I remember my shock and how much i cried. God bless u all. Behold ur life plz. Ur life is important❤

I think Loki knew he can't defeat Thanos with a dagger, he knew Thanos is going to kill him. He did it to safe Thor and give the rest of Asgard time to escape.

It's been months. I still cry and mourn over his death, the most emotion I ever offer to anyone and he is only but a fictional being. It is unreal and hurtful to think that Tom won't be in anymore Marvel films as Loki. Loki's character still had so much potential in it. Loki's story will always be unfinished. He was finally Thor's equal; the only thing he ever wanted. They fought together one last time, hope together. I still bawl my eyes out freely whenever I watch it again. It was the end of a glorius reign, war and era. Loki's name will love on. Even if it's only in our heart's. Let's hope I'm wrong and he comes back.

WHY was that deleted? That proves even from the beginning when he was acting out of jealousy, he always had love and admiration for Thor. It was never about wanting them out of the picture but more about wanting to find his place in the world. Poor Loki😭

Hits home for me as little brother behind a big brother who did it all by the book the all American way: married high school sweetheart after both of them graduated college, got house, moved in after marriage, got a little puppy, great careers, and then there is me: expecting my first born from woman out of wedlock, visible tattoos, who had a child already out of wedlock, and I bounced around Jobs after I graduated college until I’ve found my place and now still happily engaged and expecting my first born child very very soon….. I am definitely at peace but yes: my brother has always been the Thor to my Loki.

You know what is for me like most hearthbreaking? That scene when Thor is standing near the cell when loki is sitting by the Wall and Thor Said something like "I hoped that my Brother were still in There somewhere, that Hope no longer exist so now I'm not supposed to protect you" and now imagine in your head that scene when loki is dead and Thor is crying on his shoulder. You know what I think, that He want to protect his little Brother at all cost, but now he's dead and He never going to see him again, and his Smile and like everything.... Beacose He is dead, and he can do -nothing-

If Loki never comeback in avenger 4, me myself and i, will never gonna watch avenger again. Oh wait and also my countrymen.

Now i always cry whenever i see a scene of Thor and Loki in a movie starting to Thor (2011) to Infinity war, they really come a long way but Loki dies😭😭😭 i hope he will be back😭😭😭😢

Like Literally How tf is it bad writing if he stays dead. He’s faked his death before. There’s no point in bringing him back. That makes no sense. He should stay dead and if we want for him to make an appearance a flashback would be the most logical answer for that.

This is the best sibling team ever! They have so much depth/ Loki has so many layers that were unraveled and eventually he lost all ego in the end to save everyone mainly his brother knowing the heavy consequences. Thor grew in personality as well showing more cheeky humor in Ragnarok, and getting a back bone towards his bro. But in the end, it wasn't any women that stole his heart, it was already taken.. for his brother. They are one of, if not the only the only Marvel teams in a movie that always found their way back home. They grew in each movie and they seemed to always resonate a certain level of respect for each other. The sand box game. Throwing sand on eachother....then making up. Truly the best duo!!!

Let's all be honest; the brotherhood of these two is the real reason Thor was so successful

There definitely will be a new Thor movie, even with Taika Waititi as a director.. They all enjoyed filming Thor Ragnarok and it was a huge success .. And what movie it'll be with only two characters, Thor and Valkyrie? Thor and Loki are like two sides of the same coin,can't be separated.

As much as I liked him, I really think Thanos meant it when he said, "No resurrections this time." His Avengers 4 casting has to be either a flashback or Thor communicating with his spirit.

I've heard speculation that the six original Avengers will end up sacrificing themselves to destroy the Infinity Stones in Avengers 4. If that's the case, I think the best way to bring Loki "back" would be for Thor to die, wake up in that same field in Norway from Ragnarok, and find Loki waiting there to guide him the rest of the way to Valhalla. They could even comment on how sunny it is as they're walking away together, just to show that Loki was right when he said the sun would shine on them again.

loki's death is the most hurtful scene in the movie, I cry every night after watching infinity war and this video makes it even worst, it is not healthy

It's the first time, that I saw a fanvideo and cried. I'm done. My heart is broken.

I was crying in the cinema when this scene came and in this Video a lot too 😭😭😭

I've seen a few tearjerking Infinity War videos now, but this is the one that got me. Watching this, it really hit me. Thor always wanted Loki to be his brother, not his enemy. He always fought for that, always hoped for that and always wanted that. Then, after all that conflict, he finally got his brother back. And then he had to watch him die. Great video. The only thing that was missing was that line from The Dark World: "I wish I could trust you." One of my favourite lines.

Damnit Loki, you were a backstabbing killer, but you were Thor's brother, he loved you, and you saw the light of good in Ragnarok, Rest in piece Loki, one of the greatest villains this series has ever known, and a hero in the end.

What makes Loki’s death more tragic is Thor’s reaction. Heimdall also was killed, but Thor went to Loki and mourned. Loki was Thor’s brother and friend and was heartbreaking to see him being killed in front of Thor’s eyes.

Their love for each other is so pure. Thor loved to express it. Yet Loki kept it deep down. Even he never really wanted Thor to die. All those attempts to kill him were in vain cause he never really wanted to kill his brother. He loved him. They loved each other. It kills me to think that they separated and Loki died. Though he is alive in a different timeline. If there is even the slightest possibility I want Loki to come back to our Thor. I want a happy ending for them.
