He never had any innocence. He was a pos since day once, a Privileged prince who got away with everything and threw a tantrum when he found out she was adopted. Thor was like him at the start of the film too...except he actually learned how to be a gold person. Loki didn't until his show, he doesn't deserve sympathy, Imo

You can tell Loki cares for Odin, when he checks his heartbeat or pulse, and calls for help.

I truly think nobody could've played the role as Loki better than Tom Hiddleston. The way he perfectly portrays Loki's emotions in this scene and the pain the character's experiencing, also the hurt after being lied to. Along that, the portrayal of realization and the truth coming out. I also want to mention Odin, Anthony Hopkins, and how well he's played here. There're emotions that these two actors have brought out and it makes this scene so so real.

Tom Hiddleston is such a good actor and he played this role sooooo well.

Well lets admit this: Loki is the only villain that made people love him, Hate him, lust for him, laugh at him and even feel bad for him

This is the best scene in the MCU

The acting here is sooooo good, I get lost in that scene because Loki finally understands why he was always treated as second best to Thor and you can hear the sadness in his cry, he isn’t mad, he is heartbroken beyond belief because all he wanted was to be apart of a family.

"I am the monster that parents tell their children about at night" hit me hard

"What am I?" "You're my son" In Odin's eyes, Loki was never anything but his son.

He is an incredible actor

This and the scene from ragnarok with odin are some of the best emotional moments from loki. He usually acts like he doesn't care or things don't affect him, but we see here that they do.

How do people say thor 1 is bad when we have scenes like this

And this was the moment I fell in love with Loki's character. No matter what he does in the future, this terrified young boy is where it started. So full of self hate and doubt, an outcast even in his own 'family'. You can see it later on throughout the mcu, In avengers he says that he "won't be bullied" by the hulk. Not bested, not beaten, not any of those things, but bullied. The outcast child shines through in small moments and that is why loki is the perfect mix of villan and hero.

This is what missing from love & thunder, that series really need an acting lesson from tom hiddleston

I miss scenes like these. The stillness, the pacing, the deliberate nature of the dialog, the tension, feelings being allowed to be. Watching this is a clear reminder, why the MCU quirky approach is ruining the films. No one cares about what's happening, because all feels like a parody of what this was. The Loki show gave us some of that back, but I don't think that's going to be the trend.
