So, Taylor might be hosting the best late-night comedy show since Craig Ferguson. It's rare to see network TV with this level of absurd and unexpected humor. It's obviously a treat to have hilarious legends like these guests, but I have to give kudos for Tomlinson to be able to be so consistently funny and welcoming to bring out the best in people. I'm not sure how long this show will last, but it's going down as a cult legend regardless.

Hard agree. Given the format, they’re going crazy in a really enjoyable way. The original version was never this unhinged and fun.

Let's not forget that it's literally a reboot of @midnight hosted by Chris Hardwick for 400 episodes which had 90% of these guests on it prior. Give credit where credit due. But otherwise, you're absolutely correct.

As a pianist I have a lot of anxiety about being asked to accompany happy birthday on the spot, because I always worry that I’ll play the wrong chords to this incredibly simple song and seem like an idiot who’s not a REAL musician after all. Seeing Thomas Lennon get it totally wrong on TV, and nobody really cared, has been therapeutic. Thanks!

They are crazy.😂 BTW, I was,A skeptic at first, but Taylor grows on you. Chris was great in the first iteration of the show, but Taylor has just the right amount of smart craziness to make it all work. Chef's kiss to this rpisode. It was insane. Comedic gold throughout.

This show gets more amazing every episode! WE ALL WIN!
