Robby, I was hoping you would bring some car hoods and show Dave Sparks your trick. Pretty soon you will have the experience to tackle some larger snow recovery jobs.
Dave definitely needs a tracked rotator for next season, massive boom.

I just asked where the rotator on tracks is. Rotator can do anything!

On paper that might seem like a good idea, but they are way too heavy to be in soft snow. You couldn't reasonably get enough surface area underneath it to support the 50,000ish pounds that they weigh.

There won’t be any snow next year. That’s how utah winters play out. One year is ridiculous and the next year nothing.

Still hoping to see more of Dave's monster tracked recovery vehicle. The swamp machine that they tested by driving over small trees and through the bug infested swamp where Diesel Dave was getting covered with the bugs.
Dave, a little trick learned over 30yrs of working on hiway trucks and large industrial engines.. Pull your air filter out so you have clear access to the intake and use preferably an oxy acetylene torch, adjust to a large neutral flame and use it to preheat intake air.. Don't do it if some rocket scientist has use starting fluid first, unless they want to lose eyebrows and a lot of hair...lol.. Diesel engines only....
As someone not living or seen snow in real life, this looks like a beautiful part of the world. (3:48)

Wow, snowcats aren't doing so well in this epic snowfall. Great to see Robbie Layton and Hillbilly lending a hand, those guys are great, hard workers too. Robbie's right we do like his content. Epic recovery guys. 🙂👍
It’s a good day! Let’s gooo
Hello Heavy D crew, i always watch your videos. And my one question for your crew and you is there a day or time when you have a easy day and things go as plan??? And, please have more videos with your beautiful wife and your mini me's. Give my best to your awesome crew. Being home and bed bound 24-7 the world needs more people like yourselves. Thank you for always making me smile and making my day.
Best line of the episode. Hans: "well I'm not saying anything". Hilarious
It's awesome to see Robby and his crew helped out !!!! Seems lately all the you tubers have been coming together at one point or another !!!!!
Another fine example of equipment and team work . Thank You

So glad Alan is with you hope he can still get his house finished can we get an update on his situation after the fire and where he is now.

Besides bending the corner of his flat bed and the light box as well on the right side. Or absolutely filling customer equipment with starting fluid. Don’t get me wrong it’s all hard unpredictable work but I see a lot of no nos
This is the way Utah Winters are supposed to be like. This is the way I remember them growing up.
You truly are a inspiration to all. The World would be such a better place if there was more people like you helping others, Keep it up
Just a suggestion for the Snow and the like. How about buying a decent sized skid steer with a Snow blower attachment, A winch attachment and a rubber blade with forklifts. Would be super useful and for clearing snow much faster.
I hope all of the snow helps fill Lake Powell and lake Mead. Great job guys. 😊
Love how Dave gets louder when directing through other directing lol

As an Alaskan who's the part of a trail committee. I can concur. The worst thing on earth is a dead snowcat. When you're not spoiled with heavy equipment, it's a nightmare. Edit: those green shovels are the best ones you can get hands down. Everybody I know who lives rural owns one.

Old fashioned coal shovels were common place when I was a kid. They use to come in a variety of sizes all made of heavy and quite durable steel. I believe Grainger Supply has them in steel in a variety of sizes. For snow the short handle makes the ones with the larger heads more controllable. Some will call them Scoop Shovels or Grain Shovels. The better ones can cost upwards of $100. I use to also carry a small 3.5 hp snow thrower (not a blower) in my W600 4X4 plow truck. Little gear redux Briggs gas engine with a spiked thrower wheel sticking out the front like a Billy Goat lawn blower. Cogged metal wheels that gripped pretty good, light weight, simple and inexpensive. Sure beat shoveling by hand in an emergency during the pitch of night while a Nor-Easter was still blowing. Best!
LOVE IT WHEN YOU INCLUDE OTHERS LIKE ROBBIE AND CREW! ONE BIG FAMILY!!
I love your comunity of friends out there. Great to see.
The snow looks so beautiful, but yet so devastating
Spending hundreds and hundreds of time and fuel to help other peoples equipment your team is the best and Alan knows his stuff when it comes to mechanics you also have the best media team audio and video and editing you guys are amazing thank you for the show

Cool recovery thanks Dave Sparks and company
What I recommend doing for your heavier diesel recovery vehicles is building an additional building for them and keeping them heated. I spent 2 years at a firehouse in the northern Midwest and we always kept the vehicles in warm buildings, otherwise they wouldn't start up for about 15-20 minutes

Hay guys well done with the recovery also welcome back to the show Robby and crew yous bring a little more joy to the boys when yous can all have a smile on your faces after and during the recovery's loved it well done on not breaking anything too lol can't wait for the next one 👍🤪
Another awesome recovery. Blessings from Proctor Minnesota! Stay safe guys!
Удивительные ребята при наличии такой техники, потратить так много времени на эвакуацию непрофессионально. Но вот настроение в группе на позитиве и это здорово.
Fairview canyon never changes. Amazing place and I grew up just on the other side of the hill. Great content as always.

Once again, a great watch, a great team, even though we all know you will be successful in rescuing trapped vehicles, it's always interesting and worthy of my time
It was indeed a “Wizard” day. Yet another great recovery guys, so entertaining to watch. It’s awesome how eager Robby and his crew are. Hans, I think Alan has at least 100 times the brain cells you do so it’s a good thing you didn’t say anything! Keep on keeping on doing the wonderful jobs you do! The all weather specialist's are at it again , ❤️ watching how you solve things, we get total opposite of snow in Australia 🇦🇺.
Hi guys how are you doing? I really enjoy watching you team up with Matt's off Road for that recovery in the mountains. I wanted to know if there are any updates on finding Dylan's body. I pray every night for his mom and dad's, and can't imagine the pain and anguish they're going through, not knowing. I also wanted to say Thank you to all of your team for helping all this families, that don't have the financial means of looking for their love ones. From the bottom of my heart, and I'm sure Soo many other viewers feel the same way. May God always continue to bless you and protect each and everyone of you and your families.
Any time snow cats are involved it's a super cool rescue, great job on this one
2 years on lock down with covid started the clean up and we are seeing the 4 seasons come back it looks like its working

Winter in full swing comin in heavy with the rescue missions. Shits dope as hell I definitely wanna do this shit one weekend if I could. Stay safe in the snow y’all readin 🙏🏽😎

Job well done''' thanks for the show , injoy watching your recovery. Take care see you next time,
It's great to see you and Robbie get together again. Two great channels coming together.
*has moved excavators and bulldozers buried to the cab* "This is a hard thing to move" This man can do anything, with his team. I'm not even close to being worried. But i AM entertained. Edit: oh! Robby is there too! Well, there you go. They barely had the time to get hungry. Hell of a team.
It's been pretty crazy here on the east coast also. We have the coldest temperature every recorded, as well as the warmest January. We also got 1 years average snowfall in 5 days. Bizarre! Mrs Tizzo and i would very much like to interview you for our channel or come on a recovery (or more than anything in the world a ride in the blackhawk).
Snow is pretty but im happy to live in the deep south and look at it on KZread.
Alen I'm glad someone like HD finely saw how amazing you are, God bless you brother.
Hi love the videos Keep up the good work
It's a sleeping snow cat
Between 1-11/16” and 1-7/8”, is 1-3/4” and 1-13/16. The brake release on the boom lift has to be unbolted and the nipple unturned in and then tighten back down. In the case of that one either a piece of flat bar or larger washer would help for a temporary repair.

Man makes me wish I was still and can be a tow rig operator I have always thought that was the best part of working as a mechanic for the company I used to work for but haven't been able to work for few years now shiii sux also had good times working as mechanic/tow truck operator
🔥❤️🔥
I can’t believe how much snow y’all have over there! Here in British Columbia so far this winter hasn’t done much, heck we’re already seeing little teasers of spring weather.
Great to see you all playing so well together . Team Work does make the dream work
When I saw Hillbilly, I did a double-take.... then I heard Robby, and understood :) Awesome. Love both your guys channels :)
Bendiciones Hermano Dave. You are an inspiration to so many. Stay focused. God is in control. Gracias Carnalito.
A reasonable sized, wheeled, workshop diesel/ kerosine fueled space heater and a portable 110/240 gas powered generator would be a good addition to each truck's tool box inventory, that way if you do get something frozen solid you could leave it running under it for a while and get it to warm up and thaw out. you could also use it under each of the trucks sumps (oil pans in American lol ) for half an hour or so to get the reluctant ones going on really cold, brass monkey mornings. (English expression - it was cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey) ....just a thought.
NO WAY @HeavyDSparks thats the Wasatch Academy BR350, I went to high school there and snowboarded on that hill everyday during winter. The Cat would tug us up the mountain, groom, and make jumps for the ski/snowboard team. That's thing broke down so much haha. Crazy to see it on your channel.
Teamwork Makes the Dream Work!
Great job seeing neighbors working side by side. Hats off to you both from Massachusetts!!!
Your shoe always facinates. Best of lick everyone. Always be safe and blessings to all of you.😀
I love the old Fire Engine Turned Rollback as an old EMT/Fire/EMS Dispatcher Our motto: We Would Rather have it and Not Need it Then Need it and Not Have It...Would love to see you build a POD/Pallet system to organize Your Chains Tie Downs, Airbags System, Cribbing,YankEm Ropes Ect. I imagine a Palletized unit with a Fuels/Fluids Section, Aux. Generator, portable lights maybe a light Tower, Restroom Section I could even see a Base Camp Pod Tents,Sleeping Bags in concert with the New Mixer Truck Tour Crawler....the build would be awesome, and the benefits amazing
Here's a suggestion when you have the wrenches. Just put a big hollow iron bar for leverage. I'm assuming you didn't have that in your tool chest. I hope you don't mind the comment. I always enjoy the recoveries. I love your content. And the good you do. Bless you all.
hay when you are unscrewing u can put a metal pipe end of the key and, it will be easier to unscrew
Give that camera guy a raise held his ground and got a epic shot
Hello from Siesta Key Florida 62 degrees this morning with a high of 82 today 2-10-23 Snow and cold makes everything 10 times as hard to do. Hopefully all the snow will help fill the lakes some.

Jacksonville area here. I love the snow, but don't miss it a bit. When younger, I had my share of working in, and digging stuff outa the snow. Dave and his crew and friends do one heck of a good job. Tough, demanding, hard work. Thanks to these guys, entertaining. I salute them.
Massive job done well. Thanks Paul.
Another good job boys nice to see Robby and his crew
Old trick of hook a spanner over the end of the wrench to get extra leverage instead of battering it with a hammer works really well :)
The mincraft chest closing noise didn't go unoticed 🤣👊
I love the snow so much and sometimes even miss it. However, today in South Carolina, it was in the mid to high 60's. Yesterday, 72. Again, sometimes I miss the snow ;) Great video, nice to see you using the local talent.
Hey Dave //Robby & ALL Crews with the ""SNOWCAT """ Too !! Great job as thought for a moment it was Dave's ""CAT"" !!! 🤔🙄😬👀👀👍👍👍👍👍

There's a Piston Bully stuck atop a mountain near Snowbowl in Montana. It's been in the news that no one can get it out...probably wont see this, but it'd be a sweet video!
Awesome video great to see Robbie and Hillbilly n the recovery with you guys..... stay safe
This was a tricky recovery but u got it done like aways great job heavy d and your team.
seen a lot of the snow recoverys videos, one thing struck me as we here i Norway always have snow. Why do not all of your equitment have a el. heater installed in the engine block ? that way you just set out a smal honda agregat for some houers, and everything starts right up. No cange for damage to the engine aider (?) Well happy recovery on things to come..
You are super men. I am very proud!
Robby and Hillbilly rock it all the way.
My back hurts from just wachting ✌️👍👍😁
recover a dead broken heart and left solo that was left out in the cold to loose all of it hope and dreams to groom more snow and now its coming back to be fix and going to see the doctor to fix it heart to make it live once again.
Not sure why, but I love watching your recoveries.
