Your maths is off. You said you were at 80% at the start of the race and halfway you say you started at 70%. Change your name to electric brothers. You may be quick up a hill, but spend more time at a charge station. I love your videos, but this video was just pointless. This must be sponsored for sure

I will give credit were credits due, so yes most of these EV's are quick and have plenty of power but.. The range is crap across the board, almost to limit you to traveling locally. Also, our power grid can't handle AC in the summer, let alone trying to push EV's on everyone. Yes, fuel prices SUCK, although I'll take my 23mpg 6spd, V6 sedan all day over any EV's right now. The tech isn't there, nor is the charging or power grid capabilities. Hell, there's houses that couldn't even charge one of these cause of how old their wiring is.. Gas and diesel will be around for quite awhile thank goodness. Lol! I do dig the testing and abuse y'all are doing though, so keep up the good work.

Love the point of view at the end. I think people need to embrace all things to allow technology to advance and with time we will have more capable EVs. I drive a Jeep truck daily and haul a small camper for trips. When I get a new truck In the next couple years I think the cyber truck is pretty awesome but wonder would it work for my real life situation? I have a suggestion: Both trucks towing something like a 3-5000k lb camper (same weight for both trucks) and average camping gear in the bed for payload. Have both trucks doing the same 500-1000 mile road trip emulating real world travel/camping with both making the same planned overnight stops. Driving the actual speed limit (not racing to the destinations). Just driving like you would on a regular trip while towing. Then break down all the math. The fuel truck: how many stops to fill up with total mileage/ fuel cost and time spent filling up. Ease to fill up. The Cyber truck: how many stops for charging, time spent, cost to charge and ease to find charging station… for a real life typical road trip (I wonder would charging in between destinations be easy or cause a lot of anxiety?) That way we can see fuel vs electric for a realistic travel towing situation. I am curious how they will compare in a typical truck use situation with some longer range travel and not just being loaded to the max and going fast. I also would love to see the features of both trucks while camping. Maybe there will be many pros and cons to both trucks! 🧐

If you want a shiny, expensive conversation piece, it's great. I really do like the CT. But if you want to actually use it for truck things (SPECIFICALLY towing), it's just not there yet. Neither is charging infrastructure. Wish it was better, but 100 miles of range while towing is abysmal. Hopefully we get some more energy dense batteries in the future. The weight, range, drain in cold weather, and battery chemistry safety all need to be addressed before traditional ICE vehicles can be fully replaced. Sure, lotsa folks buy F150's/GM 1500's and never do truck things with them. The Cybertruck is just a more expensive version of that. No EV truck can replace something like a Ram 3500 and be able to tow 20,000+lbs. Not without only being able to go 80 miles down the road. Maybe one day. Surely not in 2024. Or 2025. Or 2026. Maybe 2027.

Cyber truck is an interesting concept, but compared to most other trucks, its a daily parts getter that needs to be refueled each day. Should be interesting once the concept is refined. But right now, you still need a truck to do a truck's work.
