When my mum died 12 years ago, I had dreams / nightmares (depending on your point of view) that she was still alive for months. Every time I woke up was like having it all happen again. I still have dreams about her coming back to life once in a while, but they aren’t as traumatic anymore. I usually just find myself happy to be with her again, and when I wake up I’m just happy that I got the time again. The grieving process is hard and I am starting to think it never really ends. It does get less painful though, so … there’s that.

@@firebythewater4477 God has a plan for each and every one of us! If we can just get out of our own way, and not sabotage it, ...lt becomes so much simpler and more fulfilling!
Such an amazing group of people you are. To do ALL of this - primarily caring more for the family than for profit (or - as in many of your recoveries) loss. You guys are really, the best of the best. Thank you.
Prayers for Wayne and his Family after that terrible loss. I'm happy you guys got him back home and he got to take one last flight over that beautiful resting place. Thanks to everyone who threw time, effort, and money into that.
I was a KC-10 flying crew chief at one point in my air force career. I love flying. I love aviation. This touched me fellas. Condolences to the family.
The biggest hero in this story, apart from the man who reared a great family and unfortunately died, was the mother. She is incredibly strong to be able to deal with this situation as gracefully as she did and may her husband forever rest in peace.

Not to discount anything with her, but if not for Dave Sparks, the story would have ended without a hero, just a homeless woman and a wreckage covered slope, thanks to the state and the bank.
This was touching. Thank you for bringing Wayne home and his aircraft. It's amazing how it looked like just a crumpled up mess of aluminum foil. A reminder of what these things are made of, so they can fly. 😳 Glad you were able to recover it so quickly, without any issues.
Out of all I have seen you guys do, this is the most beautiful and humble thing yet. Great job people..
Your respect and dignity you gave Mr Wirt is down right amazing. You were able to show what it takes to do such a recovery while maintaining the respect something like this deserves. ❤

@@Redacted341 Is it? So, he never said that in the vid huh? nice. Must be one of his paid employees? So that means I had no way of knowing that he was giving proceeds to the family therefore my point is validated. Using death to promote yourself is wrong even if you are not getting paid on this he will gain subs and then money from that. One way or another, I find it disrespectful to the dead.
Never seen such an incredible group of people, helping the desperate in need. May that fellow aviator rest in peace.

You guys are absolutely incredible. Great job. This world needs more people like you
To see what you guys do with your fame is absolutely great and inspiring. You guys do such amazing things for other ppl you don't even know, in a way they will never forget. You guys truly rock (was sad not to see you on discovery anymore in the Netherlands) and love your videos on YT
Kudos to all you guys who jumped in and solved an impossible situation. This was a really uplifting story for a Sunday morning. God bless you all.

Wasn't impossible. Easily doable. The government wants to have the say in everything. When they're involved it makes everything complicated.
So sorry for this families loss. Heavy D, you’re not only an awesome man, but you’re a great individual. The world needs more people like you and the guys that helped out. You were able to bring a family some much needed peace. You’ve got my 100% respect for who you are and the things you do. Much love brother from all the way down here in Texas.
Seeing the wing in the wreckage driving to Wayne’s hanger is like he flew home ❤ 💔
This was amazing to watch! You guys have big hearts and are wonderful people. To Wayne's family - Love and prayers to you as you go through this tough time!
This brought me to tears, I have never been prouder to be a fan and subscriber of someone more than I am you. You are a hero to so many people. R.I.P Wayne.
