My VRD is the new king around these parts. I ran it for three days without rolling. It had to start inventing lines. It’s got some battle scars now but it’s on the podium 😊

That big fusion motor is a good chunk of weight compared to a small pancake style outrunner. Have all the parts to build my VRD, just absolutely zero time to do anything. Working all night and sleeping all day

You say there is no argument for the VRD being the clear winner... I say that for Superlight being as old as it is and still being able to hang with a rig years newer, more advanced and 5 times the cost makes it the clear winner in my book. I prefer the struggle aspect to my crawling adventures. You should try crowley again with superlight having some wider hexes - nothing crazy and not brass - just a little wider. I would honestly watch a half an hour long video of nothing but SV1 trying to get crowley and i think most of your subscribers would as well.

I copied you OG superlight, but then I rebuild it on a GMRC drag queen LCG chassis, treal brass nuckles and a quad ESC and 3brorther servo. Truck is actually much lighter than your with battery, and its preform very well.

SV1 JUST NEEDS TGH g shot skid and it would rock again, just an opinion.. great video.

For Crowley, could you just move the damn name plate? You have it right where you want the tires to hook. And the plate is just slippery. It effectively forces you to climb with 3 tires. Burnouts on a nameplate, no good

I think mounting Superlite's battery to the servo would have some impact. Even if it raises the battery a little, high unsprung weight lowers the CG more than low sprung weight. :] Also.. possibly penspring-mod the front shocks to stop decompression? Maybe!

Sorry Joe but using two different tires totally skews the results. The VRD seemed much more stable but then it has a ton of brass. The VRD is definitely a performer but I didn't find the comparison really of any value. I'd be more interested in your comparison between the VRD and Pro (watching that next!) 👍

Good video as always, now I need to know who wins between my favorites SV2 and VRD. The winemaker will determine my next purchase. Can you do a timed route between the two please?

You ever try banding down the fron some. The super lite especially would do good like that keeps weight low and pula em Up and over

Hey there my friend upon watching the superlite SV1 n vanquish VRD n all ur videos I noticed that most of ur little yellow signs r in a very crucial spot n it interferes with the crawler tires getting the grip they need to forward progress

Trying to remember how each is setup, do like I learned to do flying (having a few dozen🤪. Yea, I know I have a problem 🤷‍♂️), but I write down the 'importants' of each on an index card, & put in the canopy (under the body) of each.

What if you put wider brass hex’s on super light it will probably get crawly if you had that few more mm wider and just a touch of brass on front wheels. Something to just try lol. Awesome video as always. Thank you.

This was my exact thought while watching it. Wouldn’t add much weight but would widen plus little more front bias!

I think the change to the brass weights are too much for the VRD...you should go back that step and check the difference...
