I remember when false lashes were the "thing" way way back in the 60s. Wore them on a first date and noticed what looked like a caterpillar on top of my salad. It was the lashes of one eye! 😢 My date laughed but I was mortified. Must have been lucky though as we will have been married for 60 years in November 😊

I remember wearing false lashes in my "Wild Child" days, it was the 70's. I woke up laying on my lover's chest and right in front of me was this hairy thing. Scared the heck out of me, before I realized it was my eyelash. Sooo, I quickly grabbed the eyelash and ripped off the other one I still had on. 🤣

I'm in the same boat with oral cancer. Not only destroyed my mouth, tongue, neck and chest but ALL my hair. I'm excited I saw this and I'm showing this to my nurse who has breast cancer and is on her third week of chemo this product. I hope this is as described!

I have been using these lashes for over one year and I am obsessed with them. I am a 58-year-old woman who has never worn fake lashes. If I can wear them, anyone can wear them! I usually keep them on for 2 nights with no problems. They are very natural looking, in fact, I never get complimented on my eyelashes, I get complimented on how young & fresh I look. I like that because if I was getting complimented on my lashes, I would feel like they were too obvious. Anyway, great video! Thanks!

@@juliewalter-it7ri I personally love the Falscara brand. They seriously are so easy to use & very affordable! I have actually just bought a new brand of lashes off of Amazon that are a little thicker, but I still use the Falscara bond and seal product. The lashes I am using now are from the brand “Hannahool”. I buy the 14mm ones. After wearing the Falscara ones I decided I wanted to try a little thicker lash. Hope this helps!

@@tracik1277 They have not damaged my real lashes whatsoever! The nights that I remove them I put castor oil on my lashes & leave it on overnight. I have no problem switching between my false lashes & wearing mascara. It’s one of the reasons I like them so much!

I dearly hope you are right about these Falscara lashes...and it is easy. I am 62 yrs old and never worn artificial lashes. My lashes are sparse and short. I have never successfully applied fake lashes in my life! My problem is getting the lashes off the CARD...INTACT and not mussed up and ruined. I have already had to throw away two FALSCARA lash clumps due to them not coming off the CARD well. What I wish Nikol and other skincare experts would do with this PRODUCT...is to show a close up of how to remove the lash clump from the CARD correctly WITH THE TWEEZERS. I have watched 3 videos. Not one person on KZread has shown that part...so I cannot figure out the technique for it. Some women like myself...have ZERO experience with artificial lashes of ANY KIND. For those who have used fake lashes...kudos. These are a "no brainer" for them. HELP!

@@WooWooGirl oh my goodness yes I understand and know exactly what you mean. I HATE when that happens. I thought I was the only one. I thought I was being a brute. I did try with teeezers and that helps but sometimes I tear them. I only use lashes for very important events. These, the first time I put too much glue with the little wand it comes with. If you just put a light coat over the Obed you are working with instead of all lashes at once, that helps.

Every time I have bought lashes which is why I stopped buying them until recently and then it happened again. I have dropped some. I always dropped one and ended up equipment even if I buy 2 packages. I dropped 2 pairs. My hands have no opportunity and there's nothing I can do and my lashes I remember every time I want to. The dentist, she? And her assistants Would go crazy over my long, thick lasperiod? No I haven't, I haven't had any of my heads. I was beautiful everyone commented on me. I'm talking about external beauty. You know? I always look like a model. I turned heads everywhere. Now I'm 70 and I might still turn off you but not like before. I have no hair. I don't know why it's disappearing unless it's my lupus. I want to be able to use lashes it is obama remember that word

I’ve been wearing the original Lashify for a couple of years. I love them. They can last anywhere from 7-10 days. However, I usually only wear them for about 5 days because I feel the need to clean my real lashes after that time.

I’m afraid that my sparse natural lashes will come off when I take off the fake ones. Do you see pulling/thinning of your natural lashes?

everyone here should try Flutterhabit lashes! they last me 7-9 days before i remove them 😍 usually have to touch up by reapplying 1-2 segments during the week, but so so easy!

Ditto here! I tried Falscara, then decided to try Lashify, and finally ended up with Lilac, which has been by far the best for me. My lashes easily last a week now. It makes such a difference to wake up with nice lashes!

I am going to confess that at 67 I have never had false eyelashes on and this tutorial makes me want to try, thank you. One thing though, would love to know some do's and don'ts regarding removal and cleaning your eyelids should you decide to use eyeshadow.

I use these and love them! I recommend using micellar water for makeup removal. Just a bit on a qtip and avoid touching the lashes as you swipe the lid clean. To remove lashes easily, I soak a cotton round with micellar water place on the lid and hold about 30 seconds the gently swipe downward. The lashes slide right off with no effort. You can even clean the lashes once removed! I soak them in a tiny Jar with micellar, gently swipe on a paper towel to remove all glue, wet or soak in alcohol to sanitize, lay them on paper towel to fully dry and they're ready to store or reuse. 😊

I use lashview cream eyelash remover by lily. And an eyelash shampoo that comes in a foam and it comes with a little soft round brush and it comes with a spoolie and water bottle for rinsing all on amazon. Also I use Ardell lash glue in black and it lasts up to two weeks. Do not put them on the water line! Hope this helps😉

I need to try these. Mascara is definitely not doing it any longer for my 67 year old eyes.😊

Try them out and don’t say they don’t work after one try at it. You will jot even feel these and you might have to apply just the short lashes if you want a more natural everyday look.

Good morning Nikol! Thank you so much for this video! I am 68 and used to do lash extensions until I developed an allergy to the glue. These are a game changer and so much better on the budget! May I also recommend Lilac Street? They come in different styles and colors and can last for over a week. I am not affiliated with them at all. I initially went the Lashify route, but they are pretty spendy. Love all of your videos. Thank you for helping us golden aged beauties!😘

I have a tremor as well. It is worse in the early morning. My left side is worse than my right, so I look down into a mirror and raise my lid with my shakier hand and apply the glue and lashes with the not as shaky hand.

Hands down THE BEST beauty/cosmetic video I’ve ever watched. I always thought the false lashes would be too hard for me to manage, but you make it seem easy-peasy. It also helps that you were a lash artist and know about extensions too. I’ve had extensions done for years, but the time and money is a pain. Also, I think I’ve just started to develop some sort of allergy to the lash glue. (Hoping and pretty sure the glues are different). Def trying this because the difference in my appearance with lashes (extensions or otherwise) is significant, and - right or wrong - helps me feel better about myself.

Love this video. Thank you for the straight forward advice. I have never worn false eyelashes. I watched another influencer who said that they lost their eyelashes for good when they had eyelash extensions done. I also have blepharitis so I get a little irritation on the base of my eyelids. I may give theses a try because you really look naturally pretty with them on,(although you look great with them off as well). Thanks!

Her hair and nails were always done. She had a business degree in 1953 and retired from the school as a truly dedicated secretary from 1964 to 1990s. I had no idea how much she knew about fashion, material and elegance until watching your content. I'm remembering her clothes, shoes, purses, jewelry and the quality of them! I'm 63 (look 10 -15 yrs younger) and I had never picked up on all of that!! (??!!Spoiled I guess??!!) Thank you for helping me presenting myself better (I also think I had given up a bit).
