When I was growing up there was shows with music on them it could be any kind country, R+B, pop, Celtic, blues, easy listening you name it usually they would have comedy like stand up or sketch comedy usually the hosts would be comedy or music stars. they don't have shows like that anymore.
Wonderful Sarah, this is traditional country music at its best. What I call REAL country music. The roots of what passes for country music today, which isn't "country" at all. Thanks for bringing "the real thing" to the current generation!

i heard this for the first time about 10 years ago when my brother told me about it, so surprised to see someone reacting to it, it's kinda like one of those things where you think you're the only person in the world listening to a certain song at the moment, now I guess I should expect..she said hello country bumpkin, how's the frost out on the pumpkin? haha, but yeah I've heard a lot of country music
Hey Sarah I'm glad this one worked out hopefully the other one will too by Ferlin Husky Gone! I glad you enjoyed this one! Very much appreciated! Another one of our Dad's favorite classic country singers!
That is a stand up bass😊
Classic “old” country!
Sara for president ❤❤
I was fooled. I thought this would be a cover of Jimi Hendrix's cover of Hey Joe. Totally different vibe.
He originally recorded this song in 1953.
The other one with the sitting guy is a steel guitar😊

I was going to tell you this because it's my number one fav instrument, I love the way a steel guitar sounds. My no.2 fav is a mandolin. If you don't know what that is watch this video. It's a 7yr old Ricky Skaggs. Today he's the best mandolin picker next to bill Monroe who Ricky started playing with at 6yrs old. After watching this one google him from today. He's a member of the Opry hall of Fame. He's been my fav ever since I first saw him on the Grand Ol Opry. Ironically, this video was made the year I was born, 1962. Ricky is 7yrs older than me. Just curious, how old are you and where did you grow up? kzread.info/dash/bejne/gZxkstttlrG4ocY.htmlsi=0BApG46zR8Je4mIH @@SarahDengler
