Namjoon injury around his eye happened during shooting.. he told that in a livestream that his cut was due to some camera equipment and had 5 stitches .

It's safe to say that almost nobody in the idol world is even experiencing what the members of BTS are going through, because idols are never meant to have staying power. Idol music, idol groups, idols themselves were designed to be consumed, disposed, and replaced with new ones (*this also explains why the industry wants to take them down so badly). A very small handful of idols have careers that last this long. It's likely the members expected to transition into roles like husband/father/private citizen with private lives and regular friends, and DID NOT anticipate how they are actually living. To me the video is depicting the feeling of disorientation that must come now, believing that these "normal" life tracks do not feel "right" anymore. Then he meets a fellow traveler, Kim Min-ha (who IRL was also plucked from obscurity and rocketed to global stardom literally overnight). They comfort each other, realize they can still live any way they want. Then the scenes replay with RM feeling like he's in the right place. And finally he and Min-ha go back into the maze of scenes together, a little nervous, but ready to find their own right place.

He is a true Artist!!!!!!!!!! Wow this is great.. The story of the video the lyrics the great performance is genius.. Namjoon I bow! Love you RM💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I think this video is about self discovery. Society puts so much expectations on us and we try to live up to those expectation to our detriment. Only by going through different experiences can we discover what makes us, us and find our true happy/fulfillment. Genius artistry. The team that was put together to accomplish this “short film” is exemplary.

Agree with you... RM, when he openned all the doors of his life, now RM is on the right way to Namjoon. who he is. My God, Namjoon has outdone himself. This is a masterpiece for sure. I love the whistling, the instrumental in the background, his low sexy rasp in his voice. It is so poetic. Bravo, Bravo Namjoon! It's a masterpiece!

RM confused wanders around this life maze full of alternative expectations and lives that hes not comfortable with, he learns to fit in somewhat but eventually hes led to freedom and he finds it was all false sets someone else designed and made.

The song is so beautiful and absolute masterpiece and beautifully written as well. The MV is absolutely beautiful. The acting from RM absolutely incredible. I am so proud of him he did absolutely incredible job.

Yes, this is such a deep MV.. the way these men have matured and evolved in their music and art is just mind blowingly good and metaphorical at the same time...this reminds me of V's "Friends", JHope's "More" and Jimin's "Like Crazy". While Agust D's "Haegeum" is direct and straightforward.

Lee Sung Jin, the MV director, said he and RM shared a lot of stories and came upon a story about a man that was stuck in a house with his PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE. Doors have always been very symbolic. The door with the three different colored circles could mean PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE . Triptych architecture in history has also had symbolisms for past, present and future or for harmony like life and death, man and woman, Yin and Yang, the moon and the sun with the middle piece being the connection, our enlightenment, a third eye, a doorway to inner happiness. Also the different colors and lighting keep changing and I believe when they finally go through the door the three colors on the door are red, green and blue and I know RM has mentioned RGB before. He's also mentioned multiverses and reading The Midnight Library (many similarities to this MV). Right Place, Wrong Person. It's conceptional. The place isn't wrong but he (we) might feel wrong. The conceptual understanding is that we need to find ourselves, our own happiness to feel right wherever we are. He was there for long hours.
