it just show monahan help a lot before he got hurt . before he got hurt , montreal was on close call to make the play off , but that is far out since then the only complaint i have for MSL is to play to much those veterans , i want hughes to trade them ASAP so that the team get fun to watch again , let plays richard , slafkovski 15 minute par game

They're back to expected losing especially with the injuries. They were always going to be a bottom 6 team.

LOL. I have no idea who is making bad comments since we all knew the Habs will not do very well this year. Heck we called them to get 60 plus points this year. The fact they have 33 so far is kinda better than expected. We have 1 scoring line and even during some games they were not playing together so enjoy some bright spots.

Arber Xhekaj is the man!! Tank On!! As long as Armia is on the 1st line, Drouin on the 2nd and Dadonov on the 3rd and Hoffman in there somewhere and Monahan is still injured we will not win many. Monahan will get us a 1st at deadline for sure.

Monahan will get us a 2nd at best, which is already quite something. Guy is injury prone and he is a rental piece until he runs out of his contract. Not a lot of value in this player if he can't keep himself fit.

They won't trade him for a Second if they don't get a first they won't trade him .

@@vinceslapchopper Your crazy to think a 2nd at best. Please explain why Monahan will fetch less than Chiarot did? Injury prone is not a legit reason. He had hip surgeries and currently is out with a foot injury and will be back. He will get us a 1st and a prospect as Chiarot did. That is the cost for a top 6 Center that wins faceoffs and plays PP and PK and scores goals and makes plays.

@@tomcrouchman 1) Chariot isn't injury prone like Monahan and 2) it was a fleece trade from Ken Hughes, doesn't mean that he is guaranteed to repeat this type of result every time going forward. If Monahan didn't get injured and kept producing at the same rate, it would have been a different story of course but he has reminded everybody that his body is breaking down in front of our eyes, no contender team will give substantial assets for a short term move that may not even pay dividends if the guy gets hurt again or has slowed down significantly post injury.

Im pretty sure the guy were gonna pick in the top 5-6 will be better than Slafkovsky..
