The Royal Navy might want to build impressive large ships but they have a real staffing issue. The Royal Navy can’t recruit enough personnel to man the two current aircraft carries. I am British by the way.

CCP lies every chance they can get to make them appear stronger than they are. reports of their figures are all too suspicious. they've got carriers but none of them are nuclear either. now if you factor untested army, morale of the chinese military being low for many reasons, and their chain of command just recently been gutted due to the water filled silos among other thing....and i could keep going forever lol but remember it's just recently people are now questioning the accuracy of any statement of the CCP. so i would probably revisit the statement that they're number 1 :D

I think his numbers are a bit off

The only AC Carrier that can actually leave port (performance issues are pain in the neck), is the one that China purchased from Ukraine. it may be able to leave port, but it also has performance issues. It used to have a large enough compartment to store missiles. But something went haywire with that plan. China was forced to retool the missile storage area to become a mini Walmart. What once assisted ship security now serves sailors pop and potato chips at sea.

But still the latest finds on satellite in South China sea has put China now as the most dangerous navy in the Pacific & even the whole world since the Pacific ocean is the biggest body of ocean.The satellites found that China was building floating islands all over the South China sea using huge tankers to go out to the sea.On close inspections of these islands they found out that it was raw sewerage!

Hello Fellow Humans, Let's be 100% perfectly honest here. Most of these Navy's are essential extensions of the US Navy and our military might. Take South Korea for example they are 100% integrated into The USA armed forces. We do missions with them constantly. So places like Indonesia and South Korea and Japan are just off shoots of American Navy's.

Mate. I would say that Japan is the best Nation around the globe that has the right idea!!!

I'm not sure that's the goal of the ship, unless the United Kingdom is about to get up to some of their very old habits. I wonder if they will be wearing red coats while they cruze around threatening everyone with colonization.

As a Brit, I am inordinately amused by the video clips of the Royal Navy being mostly tug boats. Well, at least those can be said to be reliable...

China may have a lot of ship's in their navy but how often dose China have a dedicated crew training on their ship's. Not like America where we have trained dedicated ship's and crew's all the time. America use's our ship's till we need to repair or replace our ship's.

That’s in theory. They are catching up fast. Unfortunately, none us navy ships can reach the power level of China navy 055.

It may not add up but the U.S. navy has found itself in a huge position of having to rearm our destroyers.

And here in Canabla we have 68 ships and pray every day nobody attacks us. Wake up government, build the wall and for heavens sake god is not going to protect us, develop an army.

years ago, the naval warfare college here in norfolk, ran 3 scenarios of USN versus the CCPLAN. the USN came out second-best in all 3. and that was about 200 chinese ships ago. that does not include, of course, US pacific, NATO, or OAS treaty allies. all china has is russia.

So why don't the Brits flatten out a big part of the deck so they can also have aircraft carrier properties. And, while we're at it, since the hull and deck are already so basically impenetrable why not just close up any holes that still may exist and fortify the ship a bit more on the inside and they'd have a combination warship, command quarters, submarine and aircraft carrier. the Chinese navy would DESTROY the Russian navy. Its the largest navy (by ship count) in the world. They have 3 aircraft carriers to Russia's 1. And Russia's carrier is so prone to breaking down, that they only send it out on short missions and accompany it with a tugboat!! It would be like a teenager fighting his 9 year old brother! I say that because they're BOTH silly kids compared to their American counterparts!

Number of troops and ships aside, it is undeniable France is right behind the US if you consider France is at the forefront of homegrown technology for every single asset you can find in naval warfare... From top of the line nuclear-powered subs, a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier with native Rafale M jets onboard (btw the only nation capable of full interoperability with US aircraft carriers and their F18's with non-US-made equipment, all capable of operating from both French and US carriers), going all the way into anti-submarine & electronic warfare, ocean monitoring with space assets, list goes on... Russia has nothing to do up there, their Black Sea fleet cannot even handle Ukrainian forces without a navy of their own... Not to mention their aging equipment and their historical model of land force...

LOL 😂 3 aircraft carrier? Do you mean 1 operational? The new one hasn't left the docks yet. Nor can it launch aircraft from its deck do to its catapults don't work. The other one they built steel is not strong enough to go fast without tearing itself apart.

At present the UK has well build ship & the US has many better built Ships.

all navies are powerful weapons and equipment but dependence on satellites only, no satellites workless, can't do the jobs. The much money to very powerful navies and country own death 40-50 trillions dollars, is not good, money workless, no foods.
