20 Banned Self-Defense Gadgets That Are Too Powerful

Ойын-сауық

Life can be scary. There’s a lot of nasty ragamuffins out there looking to cause trouble, and that’s why learning a little bit of self-defence is no bad thing. Some people take that to the next level and might carry something with them to help them out in a scrap. But some of said tools have been deemed to have crossed a line. These are 20 banned self-defence gadgets that are too powerful!

These are tools, guns are tools knives are tools as are axes and other sharp and ballistic items. Any tool can become a weapon in the right or wrong circumstance. Don't ban the tool or make ignorant laws restricting them, be smart and mentally stable to learn how to live with them or in 30 years people will need a permit for silverware!

To end my comment do you really think the politicians you're giving power to by pushing gun control are mentally fit to have a weapon themselves when they spend Trillions on both sides on wars in the middle east and Europe just for the weapons to wind up in the hands of the Taliban and other terrorists?

Contrary to the wise that you may have been told or the ones that you're telling, if you buy a firearm from an online store it is not delivered directly to the buyer, but it must be delivered to an FFL to be picked up by the buyer after going through a background check, which includes filling out the Federal form 4473. not in the USA. But in most of Europe, Canada, and Australia they are banned, and so is everything else from pepper spray to tactical flashlights. In the UK you can't even keep any kind of weapon in your house to defend your home. If you beat an intruder with a cricket bat you have to prove that you actually use it to play cricket. If they think you own it just to defend your home you can be criminally charged. The right to self defense is not recognized in the UK to any meaningful degree.

Lax gun laws? The gun laws on the books from the 70's were all we needed. They just need to be enforced. The punishments for breaking those laws needs to be enforced. When you have fools making it so children cannot be punished for bad behavior, give them "participation trophies, call 10 year old's young adults', and remove any form of consequence for their actions, you get people who, as they get to be teens/adults', go out of their way to cause others harm "just because they can".

Far way to bulky, needing to open the palm and break the wrist backward to have a correct blade length, inusable in the fire of action if you have a sleeve above it, and with to many structural and practical weaknesses to be effectively used. Just use a cuff to strap a knife at the left arm is far more useful and cheaper.

You can put almost any weapon you want on this list from pepper spray to tactical flashlights and it will be banned in Canada, Australia, UK, and much of Europe. Those governments don't recognize the right to self defense to any meaningful extent. All of these are legal where I live, but my country and state recognize my right to self defense, so I carry a gun. A normal fixed blade knife is also a good weapon. No matter what they tell you, even an expert in martial arts is at a huge disadvantage against anyone armed with a knife. Tactical flashlights are also good, especially at night. Pepper spray is a good choice as long as the wind isn't against you. Avoid tasers and stun guns. Stun guns don't cause any kind of incapacitation. They just hurt. They might drive off your attacker, and they might just really piss them off. Tasers have a single shot with a range of a mere 15 feet, and there are studies showing they fail up to 40% of the time. If you are allowed to carry a firearm and choose to do so, then for the love of all that is holy, take a safety course, pay attention, and follow the rules. Become familiar with the laws of anywhere you carry. Become proficient with the weapon you choose. Educate yourself on different handguns and ammunition and their roll in self defense. Also, if you carry a gun but not a phone, you're a dumbass. If you have to choose between a phone or a gun, choose the phone. A phone has little to no self defense value. A gun has zero value in car accidents, fires, medical emergencies, or any unsafe conditions not involving self defense. In short, carry both if you can, but phones are more likely to save lives.

In Poland knuckles are illegal and hidden blades, others are not. You can even walk with katana on street, but use it is accounted normally by law as use of lethal force and its up to jury.

"37 Magnum!!!" ROFLMAO!!!! 5:28 Oh my God, then he talks about a "911 handgun" at 10:36 !!!! Who writes the scripts for this site? When talking about the key knife, we are told by the narrator that there is no apparent lock for the blade, but the video talks about the lock on the key knife! Hello! McFly!!! Anyone paying attention?

Come on now it was never a zombie weapon! It's a spiked mace like it always has been. Holy hell there is no risk of increased violence because you are carrying a curtain weapon. The names they give to these weapons are idiotic. The finger blade isn't any more dangerous than a karambit knife. It's probably even l hard harder to use and be pulled right off because you have no retention. And the whip sword you're more likely to hurt yourself then who ever you're trying to defend yourself from. This video doesn't know its head from its ass! I couldn't even finish it.

lol quite a few of those are not banned at least with in the USA. most or all perhaps in most of Europe and other countries. knuckle dusters, and cane sword/umbrella, and a few others are banned in most US states, though most of the other stuff is legal in most.

99% of what is shown in the video are not SELF-DEFENSE GADGETS. Likewise, I might call an AK-47, a Self-Defense Gadget, or my wood-chopping axe. But fortunately, there are still adequate people in the world who are indifferent to the nonsense of idiots. There is a very big and obvious difference between a Gadget and a WEAPON. And I also have little idea how a person who was attacked should defend himself with the help of GADGETS that take time to put on himself. Or is it the creators' idea that users need to wear them all the time? People like to make up all sorts of crap for crazy people, it’s good that it’s banned.
