0:00 Introduction: What is glaucoma?
0:46 Facts about glaucoma
1:38 Glaucoma and vitamin D
3:29 Vitamin D resistance
5:05 Vitamin D dosage
In this video, we’re going to talk about one of the best natural remedies for glaucoma. Glaucoma is a condition where there is increased pressure inside the eyeball. This puts pressure on the optic nerve and can diminish your vision and cause blindness.
Around 80 million people in the world have glaucoma, and 50% of them are unaware that they have it. Research suggests that glaucoma could be an autoimmune disease, which would explain why this natural remedy is so effective!
In 2014, a study involving over 6,000 people in Korea showed a very high correlation between people with low vitamin D and glaucoma. People with glaucoma had three times more problems with the vitamin D receptor.
A German doctor named Dr. Harald Schelle uses high doses of vitamin D for numerous eye problems. Many autoimmune cases of glaucoma have a genetic problem with the vitamin D receptor, the conversion from the inactive to the active form of vitamin D, or an issue with vitamin D absorption. Collectively, these problems are referred to as vitamin D resistance.
To combat vitamin D resistance, you must increase your dosage. The standard recommendation for vitamin D is 20 ng per ml, however this is outdated and inaccurate. Dr. Schelle says we should have between 100 to 150 ng per ml of vitamin D.
Dr. Coimbra from Brazil has also seen excellent results using high doses of vitamin D for autoimmune conditions. He recommends starting with 1000 IUs of vitamin D per kilogram of body weight. For example, a person weighing 84 kilograms would need 84,000 IUs of vitamin D3 daily.
To minimize the risk of calcium buildup in the arteries, try the following:
•Don’t take a calcium supplement
•Reduce your consumption of calcium-rich foods
•Drink 2.5 liters of fluid daily
•Take 100 mcg of vitamin K2 for every 10,000 IUs of vitamin D3
•Take 600 mg of magnesium daily

I agree! I sometimes wonder how he takes care of his farm (because as a little girl growing up on one I remember it being A LOT of hard work) when he is researching and making all these videos to help everyone. Or even have time for fun, but I guess he makes enough money he can hire some help maybe. I for one am grateful because I didn't know some of the vitamins he's mentioned over the years even existed 😅. Like K2 when I started (I heard of potassium but not k2) and tuddca (I'm not sure I spelled it right & I forgot what it's for, but I remember after a video that I need it). There are a few others, so I'm happy to learn and find which one's I truly need. 🙏❤

Thank you for sharing your testimony That's fantastic that your eyesight has continued to improve since you started taking 100,000 IU of Vitamin D3 12 months ago. Are you taking it for Glaucoma or another condition? How much K2 MK-7 are you taking daily with the Vitamin D3? Do you take that amount at one time or split it up? The reason I asked you these questions is because I was diagnosed with primary open angle glaucoma back in 2015 my left eye is considered legally blind so I can only see out of my right eye. Just about everything I take to lower the IOP aka intra-ocular pressure, reduce or eliminate oxidative stress and increase blood flow is with alternative medicine except for prescription eye drops that I put one drop in each eye before bedtime to lower IOP. Thank God the condition hasn't gotten worse but it hasn't improved either. Therefore I would like to start taking more Vitamin D3 & K2 / MK-7 I'm currently taking 10,000 IU of Vit D3 & 200 IU of K2 MK-7 daily I Don't fully understand how vitamin D3 can reverse glaucoma but if Dr Berg says it can I'm sure he did a deep dive before posting this video. I'm ready to start implementing the protocol I just want to make sure I do it correctly and safely because these are fat soluble vitamins. BTW I just turned 60 years young. Looking forward to your reply

That is the real thing I did so, about 30 years ago, when a doctor asked me to take LEVOTHYROX. I took an alternative therapy (I forgot what !) then let my body do what it thought the better for me. Six months later, a blood test, everything was in order. The doctor asked : Fine !j how many Levothyrox do you take ? None, doctor, I merely let my body care for me... Have a nice week, Johana !

I was told I had glaucoma in my right eye in 2018 at the age of 70. I also had tons of tests throughout my life and was told I had nerve damage, and a host of other things. All I was given from any doctor was pills or injections. Was told at age 40 I had the bones of a 78-year-old. (3 spinal fractures) My whole life I told doctors I felt worse after eating. Just sent to one specialist to another. I finally stopped going to doctors and figured out myself what was wrong. Undiagnosed Celiac. After suffering excruciating face and head pain for decades lasting for up to 5 days and nights. I stopped gluten and no longer have any head or face pain. The pain in my eye has stopped and I am confident in time my full sight will be restored. Not one doctor ever spoke of vitamins or checked for cause. Just gave meds. Thank you for this video. I've been upping my vitamin D and all vitamins since I realized the cause in 2020. 💗

At age 60 I took 50,000 IUs vita D3 a day WITH 3x daily dose of vita K2-M4 (for heart) & K2-M7 (for arteries) AND a double dose of Magnesium glycine and carbonate or amino chelate or you will become constipated from the excess calcium on its way out. Then after a few weeks when I began to smell it means your body has reached saturation point. I reduced my dose to 50,000 IUs once a week and returned to half the magnesium intake of both plus 2x daily dose of vita K2. ALL my autoimmune, pre-diabetes, eye pressure and gut issues are reversing and vanishing. My mitochondria and weight is slowly returning to normal. Calcium is very alkalising so if your feeling a little nauseous stop taking the D3 for a couple of weeks, continue to take the big doses of K2M7 and Magnesium until this subsides and the smell stops, then resume 50,000IUs vita D3 once a week with a normal dose of K2 & Magnesium. Both these must always be taken with vitamin D3. Even if you don't take D3 and in the hot sun everyday for an hour they must be taken to stop arterial sclerosis as the sun will create D3 in the body. 1 hour in the sun everyday for a week is equivalent to 100,000 IUs of Vitamin D.

I live in a sunny place and I am still deficient. I do have multiple autoimmune disorders and supplement with D3 but everytime I am tested, I am still at 40 or even lower, and lower is much of the time. I should take more then. I was just diagnosed with narrow angle glaucoma. I don’t like that. My eyes are so sensitive to light it makes my head hurt. My sight was 20/10 before my diseases reared their heads and my vision has steadily gone down over the course of a couple of years. Now I am at 20/40 vision. I’m on meat heavy keto. I consume no nightshade, grains or processed food stuffs ever. I am doing all I can to adapt and overcome and hoping and praying I can manage to at least go into remission and help keep myself from going blind. Good luck to anyone experiencing such problems with low vitamin d. Though not getting enough from your diet and not staying out in the sun long enough are some causes of deficiency, if you notice that you eat plenty of food sources with Vit D and you do spend time outdoors and you’re still too low, supplementing may be your only choice until whatever is causing the deficiency is corrected. Disease is a big red flag and you should not ignore it, nor allow your physicians to ignore it. Vitamin d does so many important jobs in your body that you can’t afford to remain in a deficiency status. Be well and pay close attention to what your body is showing you and telling you and address these issues right away. Don’t allow serious deficiencies to create bigger problems because it is hard to come back from that once it has become advanced. Bothersome enough in the early stages too.

I take Vit D 60k as weekly once for 4-6 months, the test shows my level reaching above 100 & I stop using Vit D. After a break of say 6 months I again repeat it. This means that I had taken 20-30 capsules of Vit D in one couse. So on the contrary if someone takes daily high dose of Vit D, they should carry out test after few weeks under doctor supervision. I also take tablet having combination of Vit K2-7, magesium & zinc. All the sufferings I had for 20 years of had vanished after I had learnt from internet before Covid and I had started using Vit D since then. Thank you doctor for the excellent videos.

Or it could be food oils. That’s what is thought to correlate with pigment dispersion, where microscopic flakes spall off from the iris and float around in the ocular fluid until they jam in the angular ducts that regulate eyeball pressure and cause eyeball pressure to spike. At least, that’s one of the major types of glaucoma.

I had steroid induced glaucoma, oddly enough..from steroid eye drops used to treat an eye infection. I suddenly lost the vision in the center of my eyes and was seeing lightning bolts in my vision everywhere. I went directly to the eye doctor and my eye pressure was 67 ( they were in complete shock).. they had me stop the eye drops and they prescribed a drop to lower my eye pressure. I went back the next day and my pressure was back to 14. I have had no problems since and have not taken the steroid drops in years.

But it turns out my constant eye infections were caused by eating peanut butter and it took about 10 years to finally figure it out! I figured it out by fasting.... every time I fasted a few days the infections cleared up.. and we finally found out peanut butter and black tea were somehow giving me SEVERE eye infections.

If you are drinking a lot of water / fluid, you should add some salt. I like about 1/4 a teaspoon of pink salt per cup of water. Otherwise you are too likely to run low on salt and other minerals that you can get from pink salt. I also substitute iodized salt when I am not taking a kelp iodine supplement.

Take it consistently, but vary the dosage. Dr. Berg did another clip a few weeks ago about how varying the dosage is a good thing for the body. If it gets the same amount every day, the body builds up a tolerance and it isn't as effective. I think varying the dosage, results in the body not anticipating the same amount every day. It mimics vit D3 natural exposure rates.
