If you just want to sit down, relax, have a drink and enjoy a beautiful view, you can go to the Amiana resort. It has a beautiful view over there. The entrance cost is about 200k included a free drink.

This is my opinion for people who perceive coconuts there as expensive. Firstly, vendors must rent their area to sell items. Furthermore, they have to endure the warmth of the sun. For example, local sellers always sit there waiting for customers instead of being indoors under a ceiling fan. Thirdly, this is a tourist-attractive destination where products usually cost double. I visited Nha Trang three years ago, and I believe that goods there are cost-effective. I have witnessed a video where a vendor sells her fruits overpriced, but this isn't the case. Finally, if you want to compare anything, it must be in the same particular place. (In this situation, you have to compare with other sellers near the beach, not other province)

You should eat the coconut meat inside together with the juice . VN kimchi actually is radish and carrots pickle . VN food is wonderful full of flavour texture . You two are welcome to VN and please enjoy the food and the Vietnamese hospitality friendly culture . Nha Trang is my wife hometown . 😊

One thing for sure price on the beach is different to price on market and still far cheaper than USA/ Europe . Tourist will continue to come to VN , your comment so ignorant because of a coconut price a bit high will stop tourist visit VN . 😮

Awesome video full of information. In case you didn't have a chance to translate some of the Vietnamese comments into English, they wanted you to know that the price you paid for the coconuts also included the beach chairs usage. Maybe it's time you pay Nha Trang another visit. Lol.

Not sure if you are aware that the Vietnamese comments are saying that the cost of the fresh coconuts included the use of sunbeds on the beach as well, hence why they are 50k. Just so you know for next time! :) Also it's a bit funny that the lady at the dining place told you the pickled radishes/carrots are Vietnamese kimchi, since they're not spicy. You see those in banh mi a lot of times, but you probably already know. And some prawns are naturally sweet and juicy, especially jumbo ones when cooked in their shells. Glad you enjoyed the food so much.

Banh Can is from Nha Trang region, my birth town. 😁It's like banh khot, but without the oil when cooking. Uses a claypot and typically, it's all about the sauce regardless the toppings you choose.

I really enjoyed the food in Hue!

One of the reason that the coconuts cost 50k each is because it's includes sitting and relaxing in those chairs on the beach. Next time you can sit first and someone will come and ask what you like to drink.

The sun bed is 50.000 each, including 1 coconut. The coconut sold on the beach should be 20.000 to 25.000

The way the Cham people built a very good temple (you call it Hindu) is that they chose mountain tops overlooking the sea. Along the central provinces of Vietnam, there are many such towers.

@@TwoMadExplorers I found it from the address on the sign outside so will probably visit. We are in Nha Trang for a month and its a great place. Traffic along the seafront is a bit mad at times! The beach was really busy with locals today and they left loads of trash on the beach so a bit of education on taking your rubbish home with you might help!

The price for the coconut is reasonable for the location. It's a tourist destination and we bought on the beach... you can get it for cheaper a few streets down but you pay more for the environment. We love supporting locals this way. The price was openly shown before we bought

50k for 1 coconut even at the beach is very expensive, in the South it's only 8~20k per coconut depending on the type of coconut. Except for a coconut called "dừa sáp" that costs about 200k per fruit.

Không cần đi đâu xa vô miền Nam. Chỉ cần đi ra ngoại ô Nha Trang thì giá cũng bằng ở miền Nam đó ban. Bạn làm ơn xuống bãi biển Vũng Tàu mua thử 1 trái dừa rồi hãy so sánh nhé.

She was summoned to see the local government and charged with two counts: price gouging and disobeying urban-order rules. She felt regretful and sincerely apologized for what she had done to you two. For the price gouging, since she returned the money to you two, the local government gave her a stern warning. With the disobeying urban-order rules, she was given a fine of 150,000 VND (about US$6.00). This amount does not mean much to Westerners, but honestly, it means pretty much to those hawkers on a daily basic.

I been a lot of provinces of south east asia indonesia philippines malaysia thailand, based on my observation and experience vietnam provinces has more develop and my own opinion dnt get me wrong., my vietnamese friend told me that vietnam not only focus the development of saigon and hanoi just equal all over vietnam,.
