Today we are testing the worlds BEST & no.1 coaches drill in order to swing the golf club on plane on the backswing, on plane in the downswing and apply pressure to hit the golf ball LONGER and straighter with irons and driver. I have used this on a student & they saw an increase in 6 MPH ball speed and hit a club shorter into each green out on the golf course!
The aim of this drill is to move the club around you in away your not fighting the golf club in the golf swing! Great video Alex I really enjoyed this one for driver ..I like the pause at the top ..I need that stretch
Loads of people underestimate that slight pause in the backswing...your strikes become much more pure with it. Great video once again mate

Love this drill. I have a tendency to come over the top. I can see that if you practice this drill enough, muscle memory should take over and prevent a slice. Another great video Alex.

Great tips as always Alex! Can you test out some higher lofted fairway woods like 9 and 11 versus their iron and hybrid counterparts in equal lofts? Lots of ppl would benefit from seeing the differences between each type of club and what results each club produces.

@@AlexElliottGolf sometimes clean but more often fat 2-4 inches behind ball....I've been trying S and T and make better contact but still lack distance generally 7 iron about 130-136 but every now and then manage 140-143

If ur hitting behind the ball and sometimes clean it means ur club is bottoming I constantly. Most like a setup issue, be sure ur setup is repeatable (ball pos, distance from ball, grip, etc) Or u r not getting ur weight to the left outside edge if your left foot early in the downswing. Could be other issues but this is most common id say. However alex is a true professional he can certainly help u more than i. Success always! Dr D
