i use used 15w40 engine oil in an oil can i got from tracrtor supply. i can usually to 5-6 axle moves on an anullar cutter before i have it sharpened. the more oil i use, the longer they last. you are going to love that drill. i have used "unibor" and "hougen" cutters with great success. i have a rollback with expanded metal and hate it. chains are constantly getting stuck. i am cutting it out and replacing it with plate that i have drilled smaller holes in.

Call me crazy but I’ve used compressed air as well as to keep the chips away from cutter and they last even longer Maybe I’m just stuck in my ways though lol

Mag drill is one tool i have no regrets about buying.... use it constantly and has paid for itself more than once.

Great video .thanks for sharing. I have a homebuilt fifth wheel trailer I'd like turn into a bumper pull. From the deck forward is sketchy so figure a bumper pull might be better. Enjoy the day 🌞

That drill is awesome. I had a chance to buy a corded mag drill forty years ago for $500 and declined. I've kicked myself ever since! Nice job on that trailer! 👍

Milwaukee makes a coolant called Hawg Wash. Made specifically for anullar cutting bits. You mix a bottle of it with water in a gallon jug and use a spray bottle as your drilling. You can drill a 1 inch hole in 1 inch plate and grab the bit as soon as your done drilling and it will not burn you that's how cool it keeps the bit. Heat is the killer to those bits.

Go to NAPA and have them get you a gallon of water soluble cutting oil. I use it with my mag drill and a gallon will last you a couple years. Works great!

Crisco - aka lard --- great cutting fluid, cheap and you can buy a large can that will last for a life time.

Better than WD-40, Windex. I had no cutting fluid and that saved the day. Nice mag drill but very pricey. I got rid of a Evolution S42 and got a Dewalt and it's pretty good way better and beefier than the Evo.

This things gonna be very tongue heavy by the time your done adding plates to the front of it. Never have to worry about loading rear heavy that’s for sure! I bet it will haul pretty smooth too.

I've never like using WD-40 or any type of thin penetrance I like to use specifically when I'm cutting metal and it's done me the best out of all its compressor oil

Does the magnet give way and the tool falls when the battery is dead? Curious about the safety precautions. Thank you.

No, magnet is manually operated and does not rely on the battery.

spray fluid more often and back off drilling every few seconds. When drilling use lots of pressure.
