You also gotta remember that the human body, especially the stomach, when exposed to conditions for long enough will start to adapt. It’s the same way when you start a new diet, it makes you feel like ass at first but then when you try and eat what you used to you feel terrible.

Not the stomach, the intestines. The stomach is already optimized for meat, given the hundreds of millenia when humans were exclusively meat eaters. And yes, the microbiome in the intestines does adapt to dietary changes. I (carnivore dieter for 5+ years) can not deal with any fibrous matter any more, since I starved those bacteria that could ferment it. If I were to slowly introduce such fibers again, I'd regain that ability.

Actually this is untrue. Vegan diets are incredibly unhealthy and difficult to maintain. Humans simply didn't evolve to be vegan. Carnivore diets on the other hand are quite the opposite. I personally wouldn't go that extreme, mostly because eating only meat seems very impractical and repetitive, but it at least has a good healtb record in people who've been doing it. Veganism on the other hand has proven to be disastrous. TLDR: don't eat processed shit, eat plenty of meat and fish, and as much fruit and vegetables as you want as long as you don't starve your body of meat. And as always, rule N1, eat varied if you're not 300% sure what you're doing, don't eat processed shit

@@Fantastic_Mr_Fox That is factually incorrect, there's people in the olympics/professional athletes on vegan diets like Serena Williams or Colin Kaepernick. People who rely on their health and performance in order to succeed and still succeed. Nutrition is about a balanced intake of the nutrients you need, and near the top of that list is carbs which 'carnivore diet' completely lacks. Vegan diets the hardest thing to get is Omega-3 since it comes from exactly 1 source, seaweed. This isn't really an issue since not only is that pretty low on the list of your body's needs there's plenty of products that have it laced into it, or if you can't find anything you can always find supplements. A meat only diet you live and die on whatever is in that dead animal carcass

You should learn to cook (well that sounded judgmental). Cooking is great, but I never cook just for myself, well except for Ramen with leftover roast and an egg thrown in, magic. Main reason to cook is to share with friends. Man I love making puddings, pies, some random thing out of my million cookbooks and enjoying it with friends. I once did a farmyard turduken with lamb mince stuffing, wrapped in bacon, with a sweet glaze. It looked like the burnt corpse in "The Thing" with all the limbs and such, but god it was good. A few of my vegetarian friends fell off the wagon for that one.

After just recently being food poisoned, vomiting almost nearly every hour for 4 times in one day, I just can’t comprehend how this is humanly possible Edit: it’s been 2 months, and some people don’t know what I meant by “every hour 4 times in one day” I’ll be a bit clearer, well after the first vomit, I tried drinking water 1hr later threw up again, drank water again, threw up again an hour later, I didn’t drink water the 3rd time… still threw up almost nothing and at night I felt paralysed from the extreme fever, gosh that was awful… during the 1st month of recovery my stomach felt so weak I was only eating as half as much as I usually could, that shit really hurt my stomachs ego, but seriously it was so bad, I hope no one has to go through anything like that

Even then the food supply is not infallible. Most meat comes from factory farms and those places are a hellhole for disease. They only way disease has been somewhat attenuated is because of the overuse of livestock anitbiotics. Even though antibiotics kill off bacteria, it will concoct an atrocious superbug. I feel like this guy is experiencing microbial disease, he is just keeping it from public view.

@@DukenichLmao I have a BFP of 6-8% at 160 6’2, underweight by 20 pounds yet I ate a lot of McDonald’s for a few months when traveling as it was cheap and easy, just a couple Mchickens and the occasional Bigmac, and my blood pressure nearly doubled, cholesterol was so high my urine smelt like butter for a couple weeks Edit: also I work construction & have pole vaulter for 9 years continuing out of highschool as a hobby. I’d say I’m in a better than average shape yet a fast metabolism makes you think you’re healthy while your heart is screaming.

I like that Charlie made the comment about the potato chip. On the pizza taste test after he ate one and it was revealed that it was past the date you could see actual fear in his eyes. I had Steak Tartare once in a very upscale restaurant and it was actually tasty. I won’t ever eat it again but it was good.

This video made me go from eating steak to medium well, too well done.

I have more respect for Nickocado for eating fresh and well-cooked food and actually finishing his dish

This video gave me the feeling of when you had too much to eat

Their skin always tells me they only eat meat before they ever do.

Whenever my unhealthy relationship with food pulls me into either binge-eating or day long starvation and I feel like my uncontrollable habits are gonna end me, I stuble upon profiles like these and the realization that these guys still aren't dead yet is low-key motivating to not give into frustration and keep fighting to solidify healthier habits myself

What you dont realize is an all meat based diet is one of the BEST things you can do for yourself, if you can get past stuff like this and do some of your own deep research to find the most nutritious food and best way to be happy living healthy. Trust me… youll learn one day

I used to eat like this, minus the raw meat. I was extremely underweight from anorexia, and after forcing myself to start recovery it’s like something in my brain snapped. I could eat multiple packs of butter, and it actually seemed to taste good (esp. with salt). I was hungry despite eating 10,000+ calories in one day, and if there was nothing but raw meat in the house I’d probably eat it too. My body probably needed it to keep me from dying.

That steak likely was actually safe to eat, probably didn't taste good though. Unlike something like chicken which has to be cooked through, beef only has harmful bacteria like E. coli on the surface. It's why you can eat a steak rare or blue, if you've seared the surface the inside can be pretty much raw and it's fine. If the water was hot enough to actually change the colour of the steak, it probably killed the bacteria on the outside.

9:16 it’s prosciutto. I wouldn’t really consider it a “raw” meat. It’s more akin to a beef jerky. Except it’s much thinner and has more moisture. But it isn’t cooked. It’s rubbed with salt and spices and air dried.
